Only flaw was that it required a bit of an expedition for us to get coffee in the morning and I just happen to be one of those people who cannot function without it. "Great view off the deck with a late afternoon glass of wine. When the sun went down and temps dropped we moved into the charming rustic charming great room. We particularly want to thank Hannah for moving breakfast up a half an hour, so that we could get to the UVM graduation on time. She went out of her way to give us a full breakfast, on short notice. It’s a country house so don’t expect anything lavish or over the top. Another reviewer wrote that it’s like staying at grandma’s. Couldn’t agree more. If you like trendy and fancy, this is not the place. If you like rustic, quiet and low key- this will do the job. We enjoyed our stay. "

"Excellent breakfast! Sitting room available for guests was comfy with coffee/tea and delicious homemade cake. All very clean. Our room was small with little area for luggage. Hot/Cold water was reversed, but without my glasses on in the bathroom I couldn't read the script cap on the faucet. We ran the water for quite a while before we figured it out. Randy very knowledgeable about the area and a wealth of information on Stowe and environs. Would definitely stay here again."

"Honestly the stay was fantastic! It was cozy, clean, and offered everything we needed for our short stay in the area. Eric made sure to give us the rundown on what we needed to know and had no communication issues. And while the place may be teeny tiny, that doesn’t diminish from the stay and experience; made for a perfect place to unwind after a day out and about. Definitely recommend!"
