「This was a last minute get out of Chicago trip to Lake Geneva. Lots of great history and character. Never seen more people stop to take pictures of a hotel. There are only 6 rooms here so it is quite unique. It is truly like stepping back into history. The speakeasy bar is a fun experience. Hotel is walking distance from everything downtown. The property manager Cortney was welcoming and very helpful and lives on-site so very responsive. This is not a modern antiseptically clean, charmless...

「Our room was old and had a musty smell. Two burners on the stove did not work. I thought it was a two bedroom suite but all the rooms were open no privacy. We were on the 4th floor and the elevator didn’t work 3 out of the 4 days we were there.」

「Clean and neat motel, safe and quiet place close to lake Geneva, reasonable price, you got all appliances in the room including a mini fridge, iron, coffee machine and hair dryer. The only little downside is that the bathroom ventilation fan is a bit noisy. 」

「Our stay at Holiday Inn Express went beyond our expectations.
Check in and check out was a breeze. There was plenty of parking available all day long.
Our room was spacious and had a TON of different lighting sources (which I loved because I prefer indirect lighting, specially during turn-down time).
The bed was large, fluffy, and very comfortable. It was on the softer side, but I found it very comfortable even though I typically prefer firm beds.
The bathroom was clean, spacious, and very...

「We stayed Oct 16, 2026 and the lady behind the check area was the best employee I have ever encountered. I regret not getting her name. We had a special situation and she helped us out tremendously and wanted to give her a shoutout. Please go back and review who worked that afternoon at 3:30 pm and let me know her name.」
