Thanks for the review Kay! We actually don't live across the street from this home. We own the homes across the street, which are rentals as well. Come to think of it- I can see how you can be mistaken, since I had come out of one of those homes to greet you at check in. We are very sensitive to our guest privacy and only touch base via email the day after check in to be sure everything is in order. We very much leave contact with our guests during their stay- up to our guests and like all conscientious hosts are available via cell phone if needed. Nevertheless, we're so happy you enjoyed our home and again are sorry we were unable to accommodate your rehearsal dinner due to guest occupancy maximums and our Lodging License. Thanks again for the review!

Thanks for the review Audrey. We're so glad you had a great birthday celebration with your family. We're sorry you had trouble with the sliding door, the recent storms has made the door expand a bit. We'll be sure to get that on the list for repair or replacement. Upon check in I mentioned that one of the grills weren't working properly and recommended you use the one I pointed out. It appears you may have used the grill that wasn't working properly. We so wished you would've reached out to us so we could've gotten to the solution- so you and your family could enjoy the grill. Despite the small hiccups, we are so happy you and your family had the time together to share and build new memories.

After the torrential storms, came the extremely high heat and much of everyone’s landscaping and windows have paid the price - including ours. Despite Mother Nature, we’re so pleased your family enjoyed the home!

Thanks for the review Deborah- we really appreciate the 5 stars! As for your the quirks you pointed out- most are quite purposeful to improve the experience of our guests. We absolutely agree that the labels on the outside of the kitchen cabinets would be more aesthetically pleasing. However putting the cabinets labels on the inside would mean a guest would have to open each cabinet to see what's inside; every time they're looking for something. With the amount of cabinets in this home, that could cause great frustration we're trying to avoid. Thank you for your suggestion for tiling one of the bathtubs. We'll be sure to make note of that. We sincerely apologize for the disruption in taking the trash out and caring for the sitting pool during your stay. Although we very much appreciate that you would have both taken the trash out and chlorinated the sitting pool- we simply can't allow it for your safety. During check in Dean mentioned that he'd be by during your stay to handle those two items. Unfortunately, you didn't mention any privacy concerns. If you had, we would have absolutely scheduled a firm time to take care of those things for you while you were away. We are glad that despite these small hiccups- you enjoyed your stay in the home.
