"This was a good location on our trip to NYC. We didn’t spend much time in the neighborhood but we felt safe. Check-in was easy. There was not a lot of sitting room for our group of 4, but that’s my fault for not realizing there wasn’t a living room. The kitchen is sparsely equipped, but we didn’t need much during our stay. "For this level of lodging /-$200/night (ie. Hyatt House, Hilton Garden, Spring Hill Suites Marriott, etc.), Hampton Inn Newark Airport was a winner. Free airport shuttle, free breakfast, free wi-fi, premium bedding, excellent mattresses, modern interior, cleanliness, friendly staff, convenient location & good value. Only downside for me was location next to freeway is quite noisy, especially overnight. Would stay here again though. Recommended."
