"We enjoyed our stay very much and the location was great for us to be able to attend the outdoor drama “Unto These Hills”. The secluded environment and nearby creek made our stay relaxing. The cabin itself was comfortable and met all needs. We would recommend that a handle be added to the inside of the bathroom door, the pullout had some dog hair, and lastly it would be nice if the neighbors cleaned up their yard a bit. It would have also been helpful if the truck parked near the neighbors was...

"This cabin was perfect on everything! If is definitely secluded & quiet but still close to town. Very easy self check-in, clean, well equiped, soft beds. Loved the porch, hot tub & listening to the creek. Had fun sitting around the fire pit. (Bring your own wood though) Owner was quick with info for cabin & went out of her way to verify a fan was still there. Would for sure stay here again! "

"First and foremost, the view was phenomenal! We absolutely LOVE the mountains and having a spectacular view only adds to making our vacation even better! Eric was quick to respond when we had any questions. The cabin was very well stocked; the only thing we had to get was our groceries for the week we were there. I absolutely did NOT want to leave, but as the saying goes, "all good things must come to an end." "

"Everything was immaculate. The welcome basket was wonderful and so appreciated. We had everything we could possibly need. We saw the Elk. Great food. Nice relaxing on the porch.. "This was my second time staying at John’s cozy cottage. It is so warm and inviting. The property is beautiful. There are trails behind the house to explore and about a 15 minute ride to the Blue Ridge Parkway. The neighbors are friendly as well. We hope to be back next summer."

"This rustic little cabin worked out very well for us - much better than staying in a hotel as we had our own space to cook, relax, play cards, etc. Loved that this cabin is right on the stream - you can hear the stream which is very soothing. Perfect sized property for two people. The bed was very comfortable. I could have used extra pillows for sleeping as I like to stuff them around me and there wasn't any extra available. "We enjoyed our stay so much! The cabin was well stocked, cozy and extremely comfortable. While we were there, the temperature was the hottest so far of the summer but the cool mountain breeze kept us very comfortable with the windows open and the fans on. We had fun playing at the waterfall and watching the lightning bugs come out at night. The owner was very responsive and easy to reach. We hope to return soon. I cannot say enough positive things about our stay."
