"Smokies Cottage was just as described and absolutely wonderful! The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Communication with the hosts was excellent, check-in and access were easy, and the location was perfect.We were conveniently located near Maggie Valley, Cherokee, Asheville, and Bryson City, and we even took a trip over to Gatlinburg, Tennessee!While in Waynesville, we ate at two fantastic restaurants—Vale 423 Italian Restaurant and Red Fox Mountain Tavern. We highly recommend both for great food! And if you love good coffee, be sure to visit Smoky Mountain Coffee Roasters.You will not regret renting this wonderful cottage. It was a great home base for exploring the beautiful Smoky Mountains, and we would definitely stay here again!Make my review more conciseAdd a stronger recommendationMake my tone more personal"

"We needed an interim place to stay while our house purchase was being completed. I found this listing while looking for a home that would allow me to bring my dogs. The reviews were great and so has my experience been since first contact. The house is well appointed, clean, beautiful and just what we needed. Absolutely love hearing the chickens and ducks out in the yard. We are close enough to downtown Waynesville that my husband walked to town on a number of occasions. We have really enjoyed our stay and felt welcome from the first interaction with Natalie. She is a wonderful host."

"On this property you have to start with the host Steven. I have experienced both good and bad hosts, and Steven is the best of the best (communication, flexibility, responsiveness, and all the traits you want in a host. The property itself is also a winner. At 3,500 ft elevation, you get the cool air without a lot of humidity. It is located in a rainforest, and the back porch and view are excellent. The house itself is as described, so if you like the pictures you should like the house. An extra benefit is weekly trash pickup at the house instead of driving to a convenience center miles away. Nice house!"

"This home was a perfect vacation home in the heart of Waynesville. The space was extremely clean and very accommodating for us as guests. The beds were comfortable and we all slept wonderful. The kitchen was more stocked than most places we have rented before. The hosts were always responding back quickly to any and all questions that we had. I highly recommend this rental for anyone coming to the area. We had an amazing time."

"We stayed here during Holston annual conference at Lake Junaluska. The property was about 10 minutes away from the conference center. We had a team of five people stay in the house. One evening, three more people joined us for a wonderful town of fellowship after worship. The property was ideally suited for what we needed and where we were. The host were very accommodating and communicative. I brought my blood ham and she had a wonderful time as well. The property was very near the Waynesville Greenway, which was ideal for our morning walks."
