“Everyone was AMAZING!”

“As the name would imply, the hotel is located uphill from the main street of the town. The rooms were spacious and were separated by a wall, so each person had their own section. The bathroom was an issue as the toilet, sink and shower were all in the same place, so that if someone had a shower, the whole floor would get wet. The wi-fi was inconsistent but worked better in the dining area. The restaurant had minimal options and you had to order what you wanted for the evening hours beforehand. I……

“Supremely clean, extremely well- appointed rooms/tents, the food was superb and the staff beyond friendy and professional! Specifically wanted to mention nBaraka who helped us with rental car issues and advocated for us constantly. Also he was instrumental in helping us get our permits for Ngorongoro Crater and Olduvai Gorge. As well, Mariam was the kindest person- always greeting us with a smile and going out of her way to help us with any need. The cuisine was five star! Throughout our stay,……

“Poor entrance road, without signs, but the place was beautifully constructed with old huge wooden beams in the dining area, good food, beautiful grounds, nice pool and helpful friendly staff”

“Ngedere Lodge is nicely situated in Mto wa mbu as an ideal base for Safari game drives to Manyara Lake, Ngorongoro Crater and even the Serengeti National Parks. I had the half board package. Erick cooked great food with a range of pancakes, omlettes, sausages for breakfast and the loads of options on the evening. Numerous local dishes, like Ogali and international greats including pizza and chips, burgers, etc. The rooms were clean with warm showers - great for familes and solo travellers. ……

“They did not have our booking(pre paid) which is understandable somewhat because they are out in the middle of no where, but there was no attempt on the staffs part to help fix the problem. we ended up leaving 1.5 hours later than we wanted and paid with a Card(got a refund from Hotels.com). the hotel needs to have better service. The refund from hotels.com was easy and service on there side great.”
