Well, I booked this room through Expedia. I realized that we would be checking in later then I had anticipated, so I reached out to the hotel, I was told it would be no issue. I proceeded to ask if I could confirm the room etc..., It was a king bed and the room had a balcony with pool view. The receptionist proceeded to say sorry you have a regular room. I didn't understand if it clearly states on my reservation room/balcony. I ask if that could be fixed and she said no, that I had to contact Expedia since a reserved through a 3rd party vendor. I did, Expedia called them and credited me for the upcharge. I get there the balcony was like a hole in the wall and the view was over the garage dumpster. Next morning, making coffee, there were not coffee cardboard cups, it was plastic, as I went to get the coffee, it almost melted in my hands because that wasn't a HOT CUP. I asked the front desk if I could have a coffee cup, "we don't have", so I walked over to the "BISTRO" area and sure there was coffee cups. We were made to feel like 2nd class citizens because our reservations was made through a 3rd party vendor. Front desk didn't seem like they cared to be there, it was just a pay check. Very sad but I will never go back or recommend it. Oh and the towels in the room all seemed damp, they weren't completed dried. Didn't ask for more I was afraid of what I would get.
