「The room was spotless and classy with some local chips and water in the rooms. Excellent for our small dog with amazing views and walking paths. I would also recommend a local breakfast spot Ames Street Cafe. We talked with another guest and we both enjoyed the home made local food. The rapids right next to the hotel was fantastic for wildlife and cool scenery. Short walk see the Elk River to flow into the east bay. It would be a great opportunity for a summer stay if you can get a boat slip....

「Spent one night at this super cute and comfortable condo. Fantastic location close to TC and Elk Rapids, GT Resort, Turtle Creek Casino and countless beaches. Condo is situated in a small woodsy area with beach/bay view with easy access to the water. Quiet peaceful setting. Decor was fun, funky and beachy. The queen bed was extremely comfortable! 「The boxed-breakfast was okay. The room was clean and spacious. The staff were friendly. The TV was a pain as people, “Ashley’s phone” “Tom’s IPhone 8+” would repeatedly interrupt what we were watching by trying to cast onto our set. Then we had to turn off the tv and try to get back to the original channel we were watching, which is often difficult because the tv and remote randomly skip every other channel. 「Another great stay at Tamarack Lodge. The staff are awesome. There were some noisy adolescents with less than adequate parental supervision staying in the building, we reported it to the desk staff, and they spoke to the parents and took care of it. Maintenance is great. We had a tub stopper that wasn't functioning properly, maintenance came and replaced it the same day.」
