"Simple rooms, but comfortable for a night. Hotel staff were great and the restaurant has a great food selection and lovely open fires to sit by in winter."
"Basic things that were neglected or done poorly
1) no pre check in email was received resulting in us being stuck outside the property as we were not informed of the access code to gain entry into the property. Imagine being caught in a situation when you had 4 cars backed up behind you and you couldn’t get in - enough said

10/10 Excellent
"The inside of the house has clearly been fully renovated, while the exterior keeps its "original" state. Inside everything was spotless and well-organised. I loved the copper sheet center island bench in the kitchen, I want the same in my home now. A very comfortable stay, even got a delivery of wood for the fire ( which you will need when cold)A couple of practical notes for future guests: there’s no hair dryer provided and no internet or TV reception. Normally that might not matter, but during a spell of cold, rainy weather my wife really wanted to dry her hair and we found using our phones 4G reception a bit patchy for data (1 bar) so if you have work teams/zoom it may be a problem. Not deal-breakers, just something worth knowing when you pack, queenstown is remote. "
"Such a comfortable stay. Room wad roomy and bed was comfortable too. There is an amazing restaurant attached which we highly recommend for dinner (we ate there every night!) "
"Great spot for our first night in Tassie. Clean and cosy room, friendly staff, great food. And a warm spot next to the fire. Glad we found out way to this hotel."
"The history of the building and the staff were welcoming and very friendly. The complimentary Continental breakfast was exceptional. Would recommend for a memorable stay."
