First and foremost the owner Edgar communicated really well with us and we felt comfortable that any issues would be dealt with promptly. Thr place itself is not exactly luxury but the beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. It was a short walk to a beautiful lake with all kinds of birds and a really nice little restaurant, "the peach cafe" and ice cream. One warning I would have is the bedroom doorways are not high and very tall people may hit their head but its a small thing.Thanks Edgar for a great stay for me and my son

5 rooms each one one two two inches higher than the one you came out. Stubbed my done badly enough to go to ready med.No dish washer and guest were suppose to wash their own prior to leaving. Glasses were not clean let alone sanitizedWater pressure turn very low and take over 5 minutes to take a warm showerone bathroom with shower only. Toilet seat loose and toilet paper dispenser falling of the wall. End of the front sofa has nail stick out of the carpet that could not be seen until stepped on in bare feet.Windows inside and out dirty especially in between windows Unit number not clearly noted on confirmation

Not for anyone with allergies!!! This place made me so sick I had to leave before my nights were up. The window air conditioner in the one bedroom blows in your face. The smell was musty and the carpet was like an indoor/outdoor kind. The narrow flight of steps were difficult to bring my large luggage up. The one couch was old and not comfortable. There are little step up and down in this old apartment, tripping hazards. I spent way too much to stay here!!!

Nice house close to everything

We came to watch Tiger baseball, and this house fit the bill. Less than three miles from TigerTown and only blocks away from Florida Southern College and beautiful Lake Hollingsworth. Would stay here again.

Work Trip

The carpet is awful and there is an odor to the apartment that is not pleasant. The sofa was ripped and very old. A bed bug crawled on my book I had on the sofa. The sofa needs burned. It was clearly very used and very old. The neighborhood is safe and an easy walk to Lake Hollingsworth. The window AC units worked well and the laundry machine was clean and new. The windows and exhaust fan were very dirty and dusty.

Great place

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We had to rearrange the furniture a little because there was no seating in the bedrooms and no place to put suitcases. Also in the living room, there was no place to sit down and put a drink next to you. I hope the host doesn't mind that we rearranged the furniture.

School visit

We came down to visit Florida Southern College for my daughter. This property is close to everything. Parking spot #2 is not suitable for a larger SUV ( explorer) and the stairs were awful. If you have a bad knee or back do not stay in this unit. The inside was awesome. 2 bedrooms, living area, dining room and kitchen. It was just right for my family of 3. 2 sofas in the living area so it could definitely sleep a lot of people. Communication with the owner was very good too.

Nice accommodating, host very responsive

Our stay in Lakeland was enjoyable. The accommodations were easy to find, access to the college and comfortable. A couple of times I needed to reach the host, and he was very receptive. Replies were prompt and helpful.

Apartment was nice, had soap, shampoo, paper towels etc which is so nice when traveling. Nice linens. Close to some great restaurants. Manager easy to access and follow through was good. We could not find a light switch that turned the kitchen light on.

Kurze Entfernung zum Florida Southern College

Praktische Ferienwohnung mit 2 Schlafräumen, 1 kleinen Bad mit Waschbecken, Toilette und Dusche, Küche mit Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle und Herd. Waschmaschine und Trockner funktionieren. Carport direkt am Haus, steile Treppe zur Wohnung.

Wonderful Stay!

Nothing but good things to say. It is on the second story so there are some stairs, code to the door was ready when we got there. The home was a little bigger than we were expecting so that was a really nice surprise! We stayed for our wedding weekend and it was great. Perfect location, no noisy neighbors or anything like that. Definitely would suggest this place, if we ever need another stay in Lakeland we will be back!

Quaint

We enjoyed the apartment both for the location and accomodations. If you are over 6'4" you'll need to watch your head but other than that it suited our needs just fine. Take a walk to and around Lake Hollingsworth and enjoy the wildlife! It is probably best suited for a few people even though it "sleeps" more just due to one bath and one twin bedroom, but it was nicely remodeled and clean and comfortable.
