“The Retro was a nice place to stay. The only thing I would change would be to have another trash can under the table and put down something in the bottom of the tub. The bottom of the tub was very slick when trying to shower. It would have been nice to have some fruit and protein for breakfast. We had to go buy breakfast to get anything healthy. Overall was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful.”

“First of all. Don’t judge this hotel by the pictures on Expedia. There is a reason there are not many. The building and facilities are not updated or well maintained. If you’re looking for a cheap hotel where quality matches price. This is the place for you. If you stay here-do not use the cheaper non refundable rate that is offered. I made that mistake. Expedia doesn’t care that the pictures they allow on their listing doesn’t represent the actual hotel. The lobby and main floor……

“The staff were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast had some hot items, biscuits each day, and sausage or eggs depending on the day. The pool was perfect for what we needed. I've never had such a great hotel experience at such a low price. It was perfect for my son and me and I'd absolutely stay here again! ”

“To keep it short I won’t go into a lot of detail, but overall for the price I paid on Expedia. This was a heck of a deal!! BREAKFAST: From what I read online, the breakfast was award-winning… I did not experience an award-winning breakfast but everything was hot and well tended. Honestly, I would give it a better rating if the coffee wasn’t so terrible but I had to outsource my coffee during our trip because the hotel coffee was awful. Also, there is no access to the lobby or the café until 7……

“Nice and clean room! The only issue I had was the bathroom door wasn’t aligned, so it wouldn’t shut. The top hinge plate was not secured to the frame.”

“I was looking for free breakfast and a pool. I liked the price of this particular hotel. The breakfast was great! Room was clean. Pool was refreshing. I thought our room was quiet. We were in one of the outside ones and we were on the second floor, my boyfriend had 2 new knees and had to go up and down stairs, didn’t see an elevator. Had a great stay!”
