「The hotel is clean and the decor, understated, but beautiful. The staff were accommodating and friendly. The excellent choices and range of food available at all meal times. The best thing we liked was the Spa facilities which are kept well maintained and spotlessly clean. The bedrooms are well appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. 」

「We totally enjoyed our stay. The room was very nice and the bed was very comfortable. I can't say enough about the breakfasts. There was a buffet of lots of fresh fruit every day, a selection of cereals, and the cooked breakfasts to order were fabulous. We aren't drinkers, so we didn't go into the pub at all. There was a minor plumbing issue one evening, and they did everything possible to rectify it that evening. Unfortunately, the plumber wasn't able to get the part till the next day, but we...

「The room was spacious with very good facilities, such as dish washer, washing machine, cooking utensils. Staff were friendly and welcoming. However, room service was not provided during my 3-night stay that made the atmosphere a bit chaotic, especially the toilet hygiene. In addition, plants inside living room or dining room were dying without proper attention.」

We enjoyed chatting with her as we ate, and found her delightful and helpful. The farm setting is so peaceful (for us guest that is, a lot of hard work for owners), and the location is great for visiting the Lizard and other places around south Cornwall.
