"The staffs were so helpful throughout my stay. When I was leaving early for the airport and had mentioned to the lady that there wasn’t a Lyft she immediately called for a local taxi for me and thankfully I made it on time to the JLN regional airport before my departure. Nice atmosphere will recommend."

"We had a truly wonderful stay at The Compton! It’s such a beautiful hotel, everything is so well appointed, the bed was so comfy, the room is set up really nicely, all the staff were so friendly and accommodating. It’s also got really nice common space, so cozy and homey, and the all day restaurant has great coffee / tea drinks and snacks."

"2nd time staying at this house. Always enjoy the shady dock, swim area, and paddleboards. Also like the 2nd kitchen in the basement- makes it easier with a large group of people. The view right over the water is great for morning coffee!"

"This was a trip for the books if I’m being honest. We arrived to an amazing place for my best friends birthday weekend. The house was clean, cool, and in great condition. We did have a minor incident that night that we rectified and then we woke up to a warm house. The host was more than accommodating. She tried to trouble shoot the AC, call for a repair man, she offered a hotel and in the end we settled on box fans and staying there because we loved the place so much. Despite our hiccups, we couldn’t recommend the place more. The host was more than apologetic and offered to discount the price, which was much appreciated, due to the A.C. Issue. We would definitely and will most likely end up staying here again."
