Wonderful place to stay

As soon as you pull up you can't fail to be inspired by the properties grounds. The cottage itself was lovely and had everything we needed. Ideal base for walks in the Forest of Bowland, Yorkshire Dales and Lake District. Would strongly recommend and would definitely go back.

Beautiful clean cottage with stunning views. Lovely comfortable beds , we all had a very relaxing holiday. Many thanks for the lovely scones and Easter chocolates. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Beautiful Setting

The property was well furnished and very much a home from home. The owners are lovely and the surrounding gardens are stunning. You need to drive to the nearest shops, pubs etc., but that is not a problem. The surrounding countryside is well worth exploring. We definitely hope to visit again.

What a fantastic property. We could not fault it in any way. It was idyllic. From the immaculately manicured lawns and the lovely, designed ponds. It was so tranquil and peaceful.

Quiet and peaceful.

It was a bit difficult to find at first, but after that it was okay. You drive in the entrance on to a large gravel area, in front is a large lawned area, trees of al types and sizes and a small pond. Breath taking. The cottage was spotless and so comfortable. Felt like home. Didn't want to leave.

Gîte très confortable entouré de nature

Clive et Lucy nous ont accueilli dans un gîte très agréable et confortable entouré d'un merveilleux jardin. Il y a beaucoup d'espace plusieurs petites terrasses, des étangs... Et tout autour les collines avec les moutons ! Il y a de belles randonnées à faire dans la région.

Lovely location in easy reach of Interesting venues. Very scenic and quiet.

The cottage has everything you need for a quiet relaxing break. Beautiful setting. Gardens are lovely and a field nearby to exercise the dog. Owners welcomed us when we arrived and are there if you need them. We would definitely go back

A lovely cottage in a beautiful setting. Everything easy and straight forward.

Beautiful area and gardens. Good centre for walking and cycling Lancashire and north Yorkshire

Ideal for two one downstairs loo and shower might be a problem for four people for a week or more. We had a very enjoyable visit.

Wonderful stay

We had a fantastic stay in August. The house was welcoming, spacious and clean and had everything we needed. The gardens were beautiful. Fantastic location allowing trips to the Lakes, the Dales, Lancaster and the coast but plenty of lovely walks and bike rides (helpfully suggested by Clive) close by. Would definitely recommend for a peaceful holiday.
