「Excellent hotel, room was very clean, both dinner and breakfast food was lovely」

「We stayed in the Windsor suite with the jacuzzi outside and had a lovely stay. The staff were very polite and informative. The hotel is very scenic and has a view of the lake. The suite was very spacious and was very well equipped. The restaurant on site offered a wide variety of food to a very good standard. We would have loved to have stayed longer and will definitely stay again.」

「Bed could be better.」

「We stay here one night. It’s clean and comfortable, nice for one night and good price! Recommendation!」

「Bit of a gamble as we’d never been before but was booked as a last minute weekend away without breaking the bank. Excellent communication post booking and a very warm welcome upon arrival from Julia on reception. Room was clean, bed extremely comfortable and a decent selection of emergency toiletries. Good parking. Relaxed breakfast with a variety of tasty choices. Would definitely stay again if in this area.」

「Non-contact hotel offering good facilities for stay in Oakham. Comfy bed, very nice washroom and basic appliances. Good value for money」

「Very nice traditional hotel, has a lot of character. The rooms are a tad dated but fit the atmosphere of the building. Really comfy beds and we had memory foam pillows on a big bed. It is also a restaurant but we didn't eat here, but it smells very nice. Would very much stay here again for the price」

「Lovely accommodation in middle of the town, free parking, room large and very comfortable bed. Food in pub was also excellent, and the staff were very friendly and professional. Breakfast was cooked to order band lovely」

The room was cozy and large bathroom with a large bath … ( A shower would have been more suitable ) We stayed for a pre - booked meal which was very tasty and warming too along with a lovely glass of house red wine . The dining experience was candlelit which set the scene! The breakfast provided was very nice with a selection of cereal and yogurts and fruit juice and bread for toasting with butter and jams together with tea coffee or hot...

「Terrific VFM, comfortable, warm & super breakfast (portions too big for oldies).」

「Everything about this property was perfect. Lovely clean room with modern power shower beautifully tiled. Lots of little extras such as luxury soap, shower gel, body lotion. Plenty of tea and coffee sachets and a small bottle of milk each day, not to mention the little chocolates and hot chocolate and biscuits. A small fridge with ice box in the room and of course a kettle. They just enjoyed adding those extra touches which make all the difference. The outdoor pool and sunbeds were perfect...
