「Clean basic room. Nothing fancy but fit the bill. Has A/C. Bring your own shampoo! Nicest looking hotel in the Paso de Canoas area. A little off the main road but a short taxi ride or walk from bus station. Lovely grounds, pretty pool area, nice restaurant on site. Breakfast included. 」

「The room was very clean and nice, although there was a big crack under the door so a lot of little critters could come in which was kinda cute with the exception of a scorpion that stung my boyfriend. 「Everything was wonderful. The room was beautiful and extremely comfortable. The staff was great. Extremely attentive and friendly. It was our 56th wedding anniversary and they sent a nice chachuterie board to our room. Every evening the maid came by with a sweet treat for each room. The property is very nice and right on the bay. Very relaxing atmosphere . I would definitely consider returning to the Amaka Lodge 」

「Staff is great. Family-style breakfasts and dinners were wonderful. Rooms/casitas are nice, hotel overall is lovely. Location is good and bad. Great proximity to isolated beach. Road to the hotel is very slow, bumpy, and pothole-ridden. 4x4 highly recommended and the road wil add 20 minutes a each way to your trip in and out of the hotel, so plan accordingly. 」

「酒店位置不错，服务也还可以的，早餐的给一张MENU五个OPTION让选择。WIFI还可以。缺点是，房间的一面窗户可以直接看到大堂，当然了，要是不拉窗帘，大堂也会看到屋子里。有点奇怪。再就是有些客人打台球很晚，我们在房间里面就会听到打台球的声音，休息不好。」

「We both share part of miscommunication at check in, since we arrived at night and they don't have frint desk at this hour. And we didn't tell them about our arrival. But everybody just move so quickly to fix everything for us even the owner phone us from out of the country to ensure everything was ok. Road was not good, but driving was ok, hour and a half from Puerto Jimenez. Rooms are big. Rest rooms are in the room, but kind of out in the open. NO AC.
