“The bedding is synthetic, which makes the bed very uncomfortable. The place is very noisy. The AC sometimes sounds more like a tractor. The freezer compartment of the fridge does not even chill ice packs. It’s okay for 1–2 nights if you’re just passing through, but I wouldn’t recommend it for resting.”

“I guess the adage 'you get what your pay for' applies here. I stayed here for two nights in March on business and needed an inexpensive hotel. But the place was just depressing, old, shabby and un-cared for. Everything from the window blinds not reaching the edge so anyone could see in, to the wall-mounted a/c unit right by the bed sounding like Concorde on take-off. “Room was really dirty with cockroaches in the bathroom. Bathroom did not look like it was cleaned and had dirt in all the corners of tub and floor areas. Outside has trash all over and the hotel had a strong potent odor to it. TV was broken and did not work. Staff were friendly tho and breakfast wasn’t bad. ”

“The room was clean and well-maintained. Some of the staff members were very courteous and helpful, while others came across as less accommodating. The kitchen was a positive feature; however, additional charges applied for renting coffee makers or kitchenware, which led us to purchase our own paper plates and plastic utensils for the week. Considering the rate paid, I believe more amenities should have been included. We primarily used the accommodation as a place to sleep, and given the price,……

“If you just need a place to lay your head, it’s worth it for the price. Was not terribly clean, hairs in the sink, “something” on the comforter. I just used my own blanket. Washcloths are very cheap like they are disposable maybe. Also, doors to the outside are a little funky and you have to kind of wiggle them (this was explained at check in) but when we closed the door you could see out from the inside. So make sure you really close it well. Quick drive to the ocean beach was nice. 2/5 for me.……
