“An Incredible Stay in the Heart of Tuscany! Our stay at Villa Rioddi was absolutely wonderful from the moment we arrived! The welcome was exceptional, and the staff took the time to explain the best things to do in Tuscany and Volterra, with fantastic recommendations and clear directions. They even explained exactly where to park, and the free, secure parking included with our stay was a huge plus. Everything we asked for was handled promptly and with genuine kindness. “The whole property is very nice. hideaway. quiet and beautiful. I like the bio-organic vegetarian restaurant. The breakfast is wonderful. the swimming pool is beautiful too. You have to walk through a large lawn to get there. the floating lotus and flowers around the pool. very nature and calm. Only wish there could be some one who could help us for the luggages. as it is not easy to carry the luggages to walk up the long stairway.”

“excellent free breakfast. Great location in central old town. Safe with super nearby outdoor dining options. We couldn't find the fee parking and used the Duomo underground lot. $25 but v convenient. When we eventually found the free parking, realized it would have been v long steep uphill walk. Convenient overnight en route from Cinque Terre to Siena”

“I will start by saying that we will be back to Villa Nencini next year, and for a full week's stay. Does that tell you something? The location is perfect for the walking trips; the owners/managers are on site; the grandfather is the chef, taking time to hunt the boar and deer for the larder! The rooms are clean and well-appointed, with marvelous views over the ancient Etruscan walls, down the Cessine valley to the Tyreenean Sea. Breakfast and dinner are in what was once the Villa's stable, now……
