“As English speaking travelers in San Miguel for the first time, Casa Julieta is HANDS DOWN the place to stay! Our arrival was delayed (twice) and both of our calls to Casa Julieta were answered with reassurance the staff would be waiting on us, that they were there to help if we needed it and that they were excited to have us! We were always cheerfully greeted in the morning and upon our return; the food and location recommendations were excellent; our room was always tidied when we left and the……

“La habitación y la ubicación del hotel, así como la atención del personal de recepción fueron excelentes. Lo malo es que el personal del estacionamiento no es muy amable, y tienen una política muy rara donde la única mascota que aceptan son perros, a pesar de que los gatos generalmente son más limpios y tranquilos. Otra cosa que no es tanto responsabilidad del hotel pero que sí les podría sugerir es que insonorizaran mejor sus habitaciones porque el ruido en la calle empieza desde muy temprano……

“Habitaciones y personal buenísimas muy recomendable!! solo que el viernes y sábado hay un antro, “ La República” es tan fuerte la música que las paredes y el piso vibran en las habitaciones al lado del Antro. Imposible dormir esos días, hasta las 3 am.”

“We stayed 9 nights at Casa Calderoni (Jan 7-15, 2026) and it was the one bright spot in an otherwise disastrous vacation. My wife became ill and had to spend 6 days at the hospital. Fortunately, the staff (Luis, Miguel, and others) at Casa Calderoni was WONDERFUL. When we had questions, they had answers, when we had problems, they had suggested solutions. We can't say enough good things about the great treatment we received there. ”

“Beautiful, intimate & quiet - the experience begins when you realize you are walking into history - a former mission turned into a hotel with only 6 rooms and yet big amenities, like a yummy breakfast and even a gym. The space is incredible, as is the staff - doing everything they can to be of service . My only issue was the WiFi, but even that the GM was actively trying to fix! ”
