"Matteo (host) was exceptional in advance and during the stay. Accommodating, provided useful tips and local places to try. This venue is the larger 3 room villa separate from the Vistamar property offering more independence (solitude) but misses out on none of the services (cleaning, laundry, etc.) - so best of both worlds. The rooms are clean and comfortable, but mosquitos and humid climate dampness) means light sleepers will struggle. And that’s assuming the roosters and dogs don’t get you...

"Owners were very friendly and helpful. This is a family friendly hostal with no partying, drinking, loud music. Made it easy to sleep. Rooms are basic, no AC, no hot water but private bathroom in our room. Bedroom could use fresh coat of paint but everything was clean. For the price it was a great value. Without a car it is likely further from the beach than easily accessible. We had our own car so it was a short drive. We would definitely recommend this hostal."

"I loved the location, a bit away from the center. We had a rental car and there was an enclosed parking spot for us. The owner and staff were wonderful, kind and very helpful. The pool was great with plenty of shady spots for the adults to sit and watch them play. Breakfast was healthy and tasty. Our room had ample space and the beds were very comfortable."

"We always write what we did like and what we didn't like so much. Onto the not so much to get to the awesome! The only thing we can think of is we didn't feel as secure as we could have with the room. The windows can't be left open (screens) if you want your items as protected as possible that makes it stuffy and warmer in the room when you are gone. However, staff is around, it's a close knit community, theft would be rare and would probable come from a guest. We DID like the staff, amazing...
