「This is a beautiful cottage, clearly an older building but nicely renovated and in great condition. Hot tub and jacuzzi bath are both very good, and the champagne on arrival was very welcome! The location is at the end of a long track, so the cottage is secluded and quiet making for a peaceful and relaxing holiday. 「Fantastic little apartment in a brilliant location. Apartment had everything you needed and more for a weekend away. We had apartment 5 right at the very top, so no noise. Theres 2 long stay car parks nearby at £6 for 24 hours.Only complaint would be the key code to get in. I really struggled with it, especially after a few drinks 😉」

「Colton Loft was very clean and comfortable. It had all the amenities that one would wish, situated in a beautiful quiet village with the helpful host living just next door. The 3 local pubs Plum and Partridge, Carlton Inn and the Fauconberg were all very good. Exploring York was also easy with the use of the excellent Rawcliff Bar park and ride.」

「We have been here many times over the last 20yr . I belive you get what you pay for. The staff are nice but you need to ring for sevice as desk is not manned.
