The Space:
Escape to Carrick Farmhouse, a charming getaway set on picturesque farmland with sweeping views of the countryside. Perfect for families or small groups, this spacious 2 bedroom home comfortably accommodates up to 6 guests. With a unique modern farmhouse design, this property combines rustic charm with all the conveniences of modern living.

The farmhouse features two beautifully appointed bedrooms, including a master bedroom with a luxurious king-sized bed and a second bedroom with a queen bed, king single bed, and a trundle bed – ideal for families or friends traveling together.

The open plan living area is bright and inviting, with plenty of space to relax and unwind. This area also offers an open wood fire for added cosiness in the winter months or split system heating/cooling for ease.

A fully equipped kitchen with modern appliances such gas cooktop, induction microwave, pod coffee machine and dishwasher makes dining-in an easy alternative to eating out.

Modern and spacious bathroom with frameless walk-in shower, brand new features and tiles complement the homes luxurious edge.

Step outside onto the expansive deck with dining area enough for all your guests and take in the breathtaking views of the surrounding farmland.

As the sun sets, gather around the fire pit for a cosy evening under the stars. With plenty of outdoor space, you can enjoy everything the countryside has to offer, including the chance to feed the friendly sheep and alpaca that roam the property.

Carrick Farmhouse offers the ideal balance of seclusion and accessibility. Located in a quiet farmland setting, it’s just a short drive from Longford village, where you can explore local shops, cafes, and historic landmarks. Ideally located for exploring the best of Tasmania’s northern attractions. Just a short drive away, you can visit the Tamar Valley wine region and for outdoor enthusiasts, there are plenty of walking tracks, nature reserves, and scenic spots to explore.

Launceston's attractions are only a 15 minute drive from the property and 10 minutes from the large shopping complex at Prospectvale.

Getting Around:
Carrick is a peaceful rural village so getting around is easiest by car, whether your own or a rental.

Being only 15 minutes from Launceston's CBD or 10 minutes from Prospectvale's large shopping centre, the area is easily serviced by Uber or taxi's.

Wonderful week with family.

It was a wonderful way to spend the week with the family. A beautiful location. The facilities were fantastic. The Alpacas and sheep are great for kids of all ages (even us big kids). Loved the fire and the provision of wood. The kitchen and laundry had everything you need. Would definitely recommend and book again.
