「We stayed for 1 night at this gem of a place!
We arrived quite late but managed to get into the restaurant just before they finished serving.
The food was outstanding! Not an extensive menu. A few pub classics such as fish and chips. I had an open fish pie which was delicious.
We had breakfast the next morning which was equally as good.
We did say it was a shame we didnt live nearer as we'd definitely return for a meal.
The rooms were recently modernised we were told and were lovely! A good...

「We had a wonderful stay here in this quirky building. Lots of nice touches like Free wifi, biscuits & refreshments. Wine & beer glasses in our room. Well equipped. Staff very friendly & helpful. Lovely freshly cooked breakfast to order. On site parking. Short walk to town. Would definitely stay again. 」

Room was very spacious and comfortable with a balcony for warmer weather - lovely views to the other side.
Decor is somewhat dated and bathroom could do with update but everything scrupulously clean, loads of hot water and everything very comfortable. Could not have asked for more.」
