“Delusions of grandeur. A very small room with barely enough room to open a suitcase, slightly shabby decor. So many cushions on the bed that when you removed them they took up most of the available floor space! Bathroom ok but nowhere to put toiletries. Dinner ok, but nothing special. It was all “ok” but disappointing compared to the hype on the website.”

“Overall our one night stay was very good, location and food was brilliant, the only complaint we had, was the mattress on the bed was awful, it was lumpy and we kept falling into the middle, we did tell the staff on leaving, hopefully this will be addressed immediately. Would stay there again if in the area.”

“In the interest of fairness I have stayed at this hotel before and I had a much better stay… won’t be going back.
This time i was given a room in an annex to the property. It was the hottest night of the year and none of the windows in the room would stay open – the window framed looked rotten and locks didn’t work.The room was boiling and the fan was plugged right over the other side of the room and so was useless. The plug sockets either side of the bed were not UK standard so I couldn’t……

“I think a lot of people has reviewed on this. But I can only said air conditioning system issue need to be fix. Otherwise it is hard for other customer wants to stay.
It is summer time and the air conditioning system not work. All you got is a fan will only have little help. Can you imagine stay in the room with 27C? And there is not compensation. Charging almost 100 pound per night, and it is the sleep environment we got.”
