We welcome you to a renovated former dovecote in a hamlet in the heart of the Entre-Deux-Mers region, 3 kilometers from the fortified town of Monségur. This building, which we have preserved, is a characteristic example of the Aquitaine landscape. While the interior has been renovated, it retains its traditional character. You will have access to a semi-enclosed garden, a covered terrace, and our saltwater swimming pool, secured by a sliding cover (available from June 1st to October 15th, from 10 am to 6 pm. Dimensions: 4m x 11m, depth: 1.06m to 1.70m, three angled steps, unheated, outdoor shower). There is also a shelter for sun loungers and parasols. The cottage comprises, on the ground floor, a fully equipped kitchen (oven, microwave, electric hob, 207L refrigerator/70L freezer), a living/dining room with an 80cm flat-screen TV and DVD player, internet and Wi-Fi (fiber optic), a separate toilet, a bedroom (one 160x200cm bed) with en-suite bathroom (shower/toilet), and a storage room. Two floors have been created in the dovecote, opposite the bedroom. On the first floor, you will find a shower room and a separate toilet, and on the second floor, a small bedroom (two 90x190cm beds) equipped with reversible air conditioning. From this bedroom, you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Dropt Valley, its vineyards, and the Côtes de Duras. The old fireplace in the living room is one of the cottage's architectural features; it is purely decorative. Underfloor heating on the ground floor. Bed linen, towels, and kitchen linen are provided, and heating is included (pool towels are not included). The telephone in the cottage is for receiving calls only. For music lovers, don't miss the famous 24 Hours of Swing festival in Monségur! Welcome to the Aux Tuileries cottage.
