“Location was perfect for what we wanted, we were about 1.5-2 hours in all directions from the major parks. The sleeping arrangements were nice for our 3 generational family with a bedroom on the main floor. The driveway getting up was fine for our SUV rental, but def be careful of the uneven/rocky road in a smaller vehicle! The deck was nice for watching deer and birds. This was a great stay for us! I will just add there was no hair dryer, only one laundry pod, and still pet hair on the rugs……

“We absolutely loved the location of this property. Who knew South Dakota was this amazing? I watched the turkeys come down fm roost in the morning. I stopped my car as the deer claimed the roads, I was in awe watching the mountain goats nearby, freely grazing. And the views?? UNBELIEVABLE. I get emotional exploring the beauty of our great Country. The memories of this area i will cherish. This jem was great for us and the hosts were amazing. Thanks for sharing your sweet place with us.”

“I do a yearly mother daughter trip but my mom isn’t super mobile so we like to do “driving and scenic” trips. This cabin is amazing. So comfortable. And location is great for day drives to Mt. Rushmore, Crazy horse, Custars national park and the badlands. Loved the jacuzzi. Great communication with the owner. ”

“House was very nice for our long weekend enjoying the areas attractions. We were comfortable and everything was lovely. The only comment I would share for others is that most of the homes in that area are built on hills. Parking is limited and the driveway is on a significant grade. Those with mobility issues may struggle dealing with loading and unloading... we were glad it was snowy or icy. Thanks for a great weekend!”

“This was a great space to hang out after a long day of hitting the UTV trails. It was quiet and there were so many deer around to watch. It was very close to Deadwood, also. We had plenty of room for our group of 10 and the toys. The host was very responsive. Highly recommend. ”

“Exactly what we wanted for the weekend. Pet friendly, quiet, fantastic outdoor space and had anything we could have needed. Stairs inside the cabin were too tricky for the dog, but the host was great and told us all of that in advance. The stairs did not hinder how awesome this cabin was and it is very well maintained. Would 100% stay again! ”
