「I LOVED Carol. She was welcoming and kind, made an amazing breakfast for me, answered all my questions. A great hostess. My room (12) was super clean and the bed was comfortable. Lots of pillows and extra blankets. Nice big TV. The water pressure was really low but I think that’s typical in older buildings. The garden was peaceful and I enjoyed sitting there in the evening with a glass of wine. Great stay. Traveled from Canada.」

After a very long journey in the heat really didn't want to get the car out again and was able to walk to the Tesco Express and back in less than ten minutes. We were put into a different house on arrival to what we'd expected but this was no problem and probably better than...
