"Spa access was not included. The rooms and hotel were very well worn, poorly kept. Lots of cleanliness issues, if you stand near reception you can hear the constant complaints including someone finding dirty underwear in their room! "

"A wonderful welcome ( thank you Jane). Hotel has a lovely atmosphere, all staff friendly & helpful. Great breakfast, had dinner in one evening & food was good. Comfortable clean spacious room. Great location, lovely setting & gardens. Would definitely stay here again."

"Disappointed that the water pressure in my room was very low. It meant that the shower rose was only effective when I knelt down in the bath. Otherwise no complaints, clean room, helpful staff and good value considering location to Manchester airport"

"4 pillows, 2 with protectors on but stained and warn, the other two with no protector at all. They have to address this, as it’s a serious hygiene issue. None of the staff knew what their policy was. The renovated rooms have been done well considering the room price, however hallways are very dated and not maintained. "
