Great place to stay in a great location

We wanted a clean, comfortable place to stay from which we could reach trailheads in Ocala National Forest. It worked perfectly for us! The owner was very friendly and concerned that we had a great experience.

Absolutely GREAT STAY——terrific hosts!

Husband and I ( and our German Shepard Lola) wanted a quiet weekend away! This absolutely hit the mark! The cottage was PERFECTION! It is CLEAN and has everything visitors should need. Close to grocery store as well as well placed to see the sites…..or just relax. Did some great front porch sitting watching a rainstorm pass through. Host very communicative… not intrusive at all. The yard was great for Lola … she gives it 4 paws 🐾 up! We are looking forward to future stays! Best VRBO stay to date!!!!!

Great Experience with the Cottage

We spent 3 weeks here on business and I must say that everything was excellent. The location of the cottage is quite nearby to our destination. Having two rooms, two bathrooms, kitchen and living room such a perfect space for me and colleague. We are pleased of this house, neat and peaceful neighborhood. The host is incredibly awesome to communicate with. This place is highly recommended.

Quaint and a great location!

We needed a safe and comfortable spot with two or more beds and welcoming of our dog in the area and this fit the bill. The home was decorated in a fun way and had most of what you’d need for a short or long stay. Enjoyed listening to Friday’s football game down the street while playing chess on the porch. A quick walk down the street led to an awesome park with wood carvings that us adults enjoyed. Great non-congested area to stay if visiting Eustis or nearby areas.

The perfect Cozy place out of the city.

We did feel a Cabin like atmosphere that we were looking for! We did enjoy a nice fishing day close by and we did have plenty space to park two bass boats and trucks in the big backyard and front yard. The little cottage have two full bath (small but very funtional). Sparkling clean place! No that much decor, that I like (very simple). The master bedroom has a great bed, super comfortable! We will be back soon!

Gorgeous location

This is a sweet little cottage but truly, only adequate for two adults. Interior seating area is quite limited and the space is open directly to the kitchen divided by a dining table that seats four. We loved having early morning coffee on the porch; with the fenced in yard my dog was engaged in watching the community of kitties living in the field across the street. There are any number of gorgeous parks and places to walk. The town of Mt Dora is fun if a little touristy. The cottage itself was immaculate and adequately equipped for making coffee and casual meals. Mari, the owner/manager, was exceptionally kind and helpful

Wonderful Service

Maribel really goes above and beyond. First off she does such a great job cleaning. I could eat off the floor there! She was so sweet and helpful when we drive from NC to FL with our family to stay for the weekend for a dog event my husband was competing in. She left us wine, a nice note, some snacks and really paid attention to detail in the home. There were wash rags, a lot of towels, blankets, soap, shampoo, conditioner. She messaged us to see how our first night went and if we needed anything which was so thoughtful. Her rate is very reasonable too and her is very open with her pet policy. Most people charge an arm and a leg and have a lot of rules for size of pet but she is so flexible, you just have to talk to her. She sends you things to do and places to eat in the area. There’s a nice park in walking distance if you have kids too, among other things. I would totally stay here again!

Perfectly Lovely!

Located far from the hubbub of big towns, noise and Micky, in a small village neighborhood with no traffic or noise. The home is sparkly clean and very comfortable with a king in one bedroom (with it's own bathroom) and what looks like a double or queen and a single in the other bedroom. Stocked with stuff you need but haven't had time yet to get to the store yet, like coffee, sugar, salt, oil, papar towels, soap and the like. Linens and towels were great. Big back yard for kids to run off some energy, nice glass chess board on the porch for the adults to kick back with. Just a real nice home. Now, why Umatilla?? For us, it was to visit different springs. We visited Kelly State Park. You must do this. Just before you enter the park stop and rent an innertube to float. DO NOT BLOW THIS OFF. So much fun, easy, safe and delightful. Even babys sitting in parents laps in a tube, and all sorts of youngsters and oldsters enjoying. Also swam at Alexander Recreational area and Wekiwa State Park. We also canoed and paddleboarded at Silver Springs Park . We also drove some of the dirt roads in the Ocola National Forest, Swam with Manatee in Crystal River (one even reached out and kissed my grandaughter!) and we swam in the Gulf and in the Atlantic. This VRBO is an excellent base from which to do all this and probably more...but we ran out of time. Loved it.

Perfect Getaway

This cottage is special. Well appointed and welcoming. This is our second stay….and will not be our last. Owner is communicative without being intrusive. Love that it is pet friendly with a wonderful outdoor space. Homey feel and well located ….easy access to surrounding towns and National Forest. Perfect getaway!

Quick trip for Leesburg Bike Fest

We came down to meet friends at Leesburg Bike Fest who were renting a different VRBO down the street!Cottage was exactly as the photos show. Great location for the bike fest. Lots to do nearby.Maribel had a bottle of wine for us and was AMAZING at communicating before, during and after our stay!We arrived late at night, but she had lights on for us, so getting in was very easy! She allowed us to put our motorcycle trailer in the backyard and were able to put the bikes in the front yard with pavers! Felt very secure and safeEl Marie's pizza was phenomenal and arrived SO fast!! Definitely would recommend that place!!Checking out was SO easy! And again communication about that was awesome! Would definitely book here again!

Perfect Cottage Getaway!

Stayed here while our own home in town was being tented for termites. Host was extremely thoughtful and kind. Fenced yard was perfect for our dog. Home was very clean and cozy. Enjoyed our two night stay very much. Highly recommend!

Peaceful Cottage near Mt Dora & Kings Landing

We loved every minute. The neighborhood was very quiet and felt very safe. We had several meals in Mt Dora and visited Kings Landings the springs to kayak.(recommend) We will be back to the springs and would recommend this cottage.

Peaceful

Came to the area to get away from the beach. To visit a local farm that I buy products from. The cottage is perfect as I came with my 2 little dogs and the neighborhood has sidewalks as well as parks. Upon my arrival there was a nice bottle of wine, chocolates and water. Even a lil sign welcoming me. Literally everything about this space is fantastic. If you are looking for the perfect getaway look no further. Zero problems, when I had just one question host responded immediately. I just put in the wrong code for the WiFi and after I sent the request I figured it out and I got myself tickled with my own mistake.
