“The staff were very nice & helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room lighting was soft that made me have a good sleep. The only thing I want to comment is: I saw a small cockroach on the table and once I waned to catch it, it rushed back to the fold-up wooden plate. I was so shocked about that and the tidiness is needed to be concerned.”

“This is a fantastic hotel and we have been coming here a number of years, however it has changed its name 3 times since we started to stay here. It is still the American Hotel to us and the astounding history should be respected by all the new owners as I am sure the do and will. It is situated in an excellent location of the vibrant Leidseplien.”

“這間飯店的雙床房不是真的雙床房，進房以後傻眼詢問櫃檯，櫃台叫我到樓下，於是我拖著重重的行李下去，以為他要幫我換房，殊不知，到了櫃檯，竟然叫我自己搬床。行李很重，床也很重，不能接受被這樣使喚。不尊重客人。”

“Considering the price the quality is good enough ”

“Overall the hotel has a really cool design, the room is spacious, the amenities especially the shower gel and shampoo smelled maginificiant. However throughout the 3 nights I stayed there, there were constantly ‘knocking sounds’ on the wooden wall behind the bed which made falling asleep difficult. Told the reception about the situation and was told this happened very often and they had no idea on the solution. The other thing was that I sent an email to the hotel, the response was so slow……

“The location is a little far to airport, the rest are all perfect. The family room is huge and we are really enjoying it.”

“住宿地點很方便走路就可以到梵高博物館跟國家博物館，而且離購物的街道也超近 附近也有知名的餐廳 只是房間有點狹小 但一樓大廳有免費咖啡跟茶可以喝”

“Pros: The hotel is next to Wibautstraat station which is a station that three train roles passed by, very convenient to travel to Amsterdam Centraal Station. Reception staffs are nice and friendly, they do solved all of my requirements. Hotel's Breakfast is at high quality with a fair price(19.50 euro), provided all day breakfast, cheese, cereal, coffee machine, yogurt and different kinds of hams.
