"Location and ocean view was FANTASTIC. While it's not a 5-star/ $1000 per night hotel, it has everything you would need/ expect from an excellent beach house. We were only a group of 2, but the house easily could accommodate 6 people. Great jumping off point to see sites on this side of the island (Hilo, Volcano, towns that existed a few years ago but then were taken by lava). "We enjoyed this unique property, especially the deck in the morning and evening. The stray cats were sweet and my daughter really liked having them around. Only issue was with the showers. The outdoor closed in shower was very hot and unable to change the temp; the indoor shower was chilly and the other outdoor shower ‘one with nature’ was just right. Other than that, the property was as described."

"We chose this property due to it's proximity to Volcanos NP. It was also a great "jumping off" point for lots of places on the island. Close to Hilo for restaurants and groceries. The property itself wad exactly as described. I was concerned that there would be no AC, but there are ceiling fans in every room and with the windows open, it was the perfect temp. Would definitely recommend."
