Beautiful hotel, conveniently located. It’s clean and very directly staff. The only downside is that the room has a part where a lot of mosquitos can come into the room and the A/C wouldn’t feel cold because of this same reason. Besides the property is stunning and fun. Keep in mind the bar/restaurant area closes a bit too early

Great holiday experience
Loved hotel, private villa provided privacy & being so close to the beach was a privilege. Shame German holiday makers took claim to 4 beach beds for the entire day despite not using them. We had to sit on the sand when they told us to move & hotel manager did not intervene 😡 I advised them to get more beds too. other than that I would highly recommend as it is a lovely hotel with delicious food & excellent staff

The owner and her daughter were available the whole time we stayed at the property and were always asking whether we were happy. You must eat at their restaurant as it was the best food we ate in the island over the 8 days we were there. We would stay there again.

A bit of paradise, staff very friendly, food is excellent and the atmosphere just perfect. Bed might be a bit hard for some peoples liking. Its a bit more expensive but well worth it.

Quiet resort to relax
Our stay was great, this is a quiet resort and there were no kids insight which was nice for us! Our room was tidy and spacious! The bed was a huge king. We found accessible to walk from our hotel to nearby restaurants. The scooter hire from the resort was more expensive than down the road and they could not provide helmets and also gave us scooter that had no petrol. Our room was not ready until after 2pm and they did not contact us we went back to reception to ask.

Nice hotel , breakfast was good. Pool average ,sand in the pool from people coming straight from beach as there was no shower to rinse.had a few issues but were fixed straight away.Great position.

The Indiana is a really unique place to stay. Lovely room with private courtyard. Beautiful pool(s), with a restaurant / bar flowing on to the beach. Good location close to plenty of other restaurants along the beach front. Friendly and helpful staff

Not bad, but short of a "luxury" villa
What we liked: Location, the private beach, pool, size of the rooms. Breakfast (you can choose from three different sets on the menu) was alright but nothing to shout about. What we didn't like: Noise at night and in the morning around your villa (think motorcycles going off, dogs barking, roosters crowing, you can also hear people talking). I expected better amenities for a "luxury" villa e.g. bedroom slippers, toiletries (usually we aren't fussed about bedroom slippers but the villa had no rug and the floor feels kind of dirty without them). Bed was on the harder side. Limited beach chairs at the private beach so you have to go early to reserve a spot if you want one.

Well located, great French restaurant & good stay!
Indiana Kenanga is very well located and walking distance to spa, restaurants, Magoo bike rental, etc. If the skies are clear, you will get stunning purplish/orangey sunsets and you will see the yolk disappearing to the last bit. Amazing. Service is great and the French restaurant serves great breakfasts (minus the ubiquitous flies found everywhere in Lembongan). There are two small pools by the two restaurants and a good beach lounge area with great music. It is interesting to note that there are a few private villas within the villa compound. Our villa #19 was all the way in and it seemed like we were bordered by the roadside. The soundproofing is bad, and we can hear roadside noises and our neighbours from their bedroom clearly. The villa itself is spacious. We wore our slippers in the villa as the floor did not feel clean for us to be barefoot. Airconditioning is good. Toilet is fine. The shower area’s rainforest shower did not work well so we did not use that. The normal shower was a little tricky to adjust and the water pressure was very strong. The villa provided Balinese style shower amenities but we preferred using our own. We travelled as two couples and we definitely had a great time in Lembongan and we will recommend Indiana Kenanga to other travellers too.

Superb location, helpful staff but noisy rooms
This hotel showed its 4 star elegance with superb, spacious rooms and general facilities. The staff were helpful and nothing was too much to ask of them. The porters were also always on hand to assist. The hotel has 2 pools, one internal and near the spa and one on the beachfront. The locality to the beach (less than 2 minute walk) is great and there are plenty of sun loungers if you want to stay in the same place or watersports if you want to get out and about. The on site restaurant serves great food, although it is expensive compared to what else I had in Bali and on the island. The 4 star rating certainly comes with 4 star prices. I would recommend looking at the local restaurants and eateries for other options. The main negative was the external noise when in the room. It sounded like scooters were actually in the room from about 5am, we were that close to a cut through. Granted, there is little that can be done about this but it did affect our quality of sleep and relaxation. Maybe some sound proofing may be an option?

Great place but because of the open rooms there are tonnes of mosquitoes and insects. I had to wake up at the middle of the night to slay a giant spider.

Nicely accommodation with great service
Lovely decor and great service from staff. Bed was quite comfortable although a little on the hard side for our personal liking. Also the area could be quite noisy at night and first thing in the morning. Otherwise, a lovely stay.

Honeymoon
Everyone was super nice there and they even did something special for us, since it was our honeymoon. Our room was so cute and private, only two complains is that the room smelled like mildew from an extra set of pillows and comforter stuffed away to be used as extra linen. Then the Netting on the top of the bed (that was there in the event any birds pooped) was dirty and that grossed me out.

Really nice hotel but noisy
We stayed here for 4 nights and the hotel is really nice the rooms and big and clean, however the room we stayed in was next to the busy road and from what I can make out a roaster farm. We didn't get much sleep the first two nights and the hotel kindly moved us however you cannot get away from the sound of roasters going off all night. Ear plugs were provided however they had little affect. On a plus note the food in the restaurant is well worth splashing out on.

Honeymoon stay at Lembongan
The staff were Friendly and helpful with enquiries when we stayed at the villa. However there are couple of downside to the villa. 1. we had some issue with the hot water system from the villa. I think they use a boiler system that heat the water up. 2. The door for interior and exterior door were not modernised. As during night time, when there was breeze, we can hear the door bang. 3. The hotel restaurant may need to improve on the menu availability. As we were told there were two dishes not available and when we have ordered there are more dishes that are out of stocked. This need to be informed to the customer before hand. For example. no French fries for the burger or no rice for chicken curry. Overall the villa was like nature of the environment. Special thank you for Sugi and Sonya for the front desk checkin.

I was a bit disappointed and wouldn't say the facility worth this kind of price. I have stayed in other hotels/resort in Bali with similar pricing but delivered much better, quality service. First, its only limited hours of service for front desk, the first night when we checked in the reception guy forgot to give us the wifi password and as we realized, the counter was closed and we've got no one to ask for assistance till the next morning. Later we realized there is a strange smell from the tank water and not until we asked, the staff then told us that there was a pipe brokage and those unfiltered underground water got mixed with the tank water therefore resulting this strange smell. There was a small jar with cover placed on top of the surface top inside the washroom, inside was filled with trash of used cotton pad and contact lenses left from last users, we stayed there for two nights and it didn't got cleaned up at all until we checked out. The room décor is nice, but overall I would not recommend this place, there are definitely much better ones nearby like Lembongan Beach Club or Mahagiri for this price range of accommodation.

The hotel positions itself as one of the luxury places of the island as reflected in the price we paid. Unfortunately it didn't live up to these expectations. First of all, the breakfast was very poor. We had to choose between 2 very poor options (as if we were in a basic B&B or youth hostel) despite them having a full à la carte breakfast menu for which we should have paid the extra for. Secondly we didn't have hot water for two of the three days we were there, which in fairness was fixed as soon as we complained, but still this shouldn't happen in a "luxury" hotel. Thirdly, the wifi didn't work properly in the room nor in the common areas. The service felt a bit too relaxed and overall the hotel looked a bit neglected. Only positive side, was the room, which was very big and with a comfortable bed.

Decent but could be better
The hotel is overall decent, but much can be improved to make it nicer, for instance having a steady wifi connexion (we did not have wifi for 2 out of 3 days), a more smiling crew or better room cleaning... These are details that make a difference and should be worked on at Indiana Kenanga. Positive point: the food at the restaurant is amazing, and the spa & pool area really nice.

Great stay with unforgettable food
The hotel is very nice and the restaurants are absolutely a hit. I read lots of reviews about not so good breakfast, but that will be for the ones used to the typical “American buffet”, let me remind you, this is a French restaurant. The food at lunch and dinner is absolutely amazing, we didn’t even bother to try around because we wanted to tray the entire menu. The people at the hotel were all incredible helpful, including managers and owner. We felt we were at home. I didn’t give 5 points to cleanliness because the mosquito net on top of the bed is full of bugs which should be cleaned every day. Also on comfort the villas all have a very small split A/C which is not enough for the size of the room so do not expect a cold room. Im planning to return to Lembongan and I will not look any other place, I’ll come back.

This place is awesome!! It is expensive for Bali but worth it. The vibe is good. Food is amazing and people are nice. Waves right out front. Snorkeling around the corner. We loves our stay there. Get a message. The spa is nice! Oh ya and craft cocktails. They do it right here. Definitely recommend a few day stay. We went for 2 days amd extended our stay.

It was lovely.... the island itself is breathtaking and our stay at the Indiana made it that much more beautiful. Staff was great, you're right on the beach, food is amazing, and the rooms are gorgeous. I'll be back!!!

This is one of the nicest places to stay in Lambogan, however very expensive if you compare prices for what you get! Our toilet blocked up one night at 10:40 and we couldn't raise any staff, manager etc. so had to live with the stink all night. The rooms are in a semi cottage was nicely furnished, towels were the best we had in Bali. The breakfasts are very limited if you are on a ackage. They need to gave better choices which include Indonesian food. Staff were lovely. Don't organise any trips through hotel as they are way more expensive. Just walk along the rise or the beach ang get dome prides.

Flash accommodation for a laid back Island.
If you go here expecting Monaco or the resort cities of Asia be prepared for disappointment. Fabulous little spot for those that want comparative luxury in an easy going location. Friendly polite staff and people. Awesome food. You leave the resort and step into older Indonesia.

We wanted to go to lembongen to a quieter area in Bali - and this was great. The hotel was great!! The views from the restaurant/bar at sunset, an on site spa and the gourmet meals, my husband & I really had a great relaxing stay. The front desk can arrange anything from scooter rentals to snorkeling trips.

Very nice hotel right on the beach. We stayed in a lovely suite with a private garden. Beautiful! Wish we had longer to stay. Had dinner in the French restaurant on the property...fabulous! We also are creeps by the pool one day...delicious! Looking forward to going back one day!

This is currently the most expensive hotel in Nusa Lembongan. However, I believe it was not value for money, as we stayed in other places on the island which were a lot cheaper, but provided comparable conditions. I was not impressed by the breakfast: not much to eat and poor choice.

Overrated!
Stayed here for two nights in june'14. The location is fabulous overlooking the beach, great place to laze around and enjoy the sunset. The rooms come with a patio area which is decently large. The rooms however a little antiquated and not the most clean. The dining area is pretty quiet and relaxed. I would recommend people to opt for the lembongnan beach club in the same price category.
