“Haddington House was a beautiful hotel. Instructions sent ahead of time did not provide instructions for parking or a code to get into the parking. Once located, lots of space for parking on property. Location was chosen with plans to use the DART-(convenient location to train stations) to visit downtown Dublin however, it was not running. Bus transportation worked well after we located a Leap Card from a local convenient store and Bus 7 to Dublin City centre. Location was right on the baths……

“Lovely property with beautiful surroundings and a great neighbourhood. The hotel itself is charming, although it can feel a bit like a maze when trying to find your room. I stayed in Room 323, which was very comfortable. The room did not have air conditioning, but when I requested a fan, the receptionist provided one immediately, which was much appreciated. The room amenities were good, and I particularly enjoyed the daily selection of biscuits, which changed each day and added a nice……

“The room was clean and staff was excellent. However, there are no ice machines in the hotel. To get ice you have to call the restaurant and they will only bring up one bucket at a cost of €7. There are no refrigerators in the room either or microwave. Very basic and not like in the US AND Canada.”

“Comfortable hotel situated in a quiet area close to the Dublin City centre making it ideal for local visit. Various restaurants and pubs within walking distance. Room was clean, comfortable and well maintained. Parking on site was useful. Friendly staff and the continental breakfast was good.”
