“Beautiful historic place to stay, situated in a picture postcard village. We loved staying here and found it very practical given we were in the area for a music festival. The room was very comfortable, amenities very good and the staff were extremely helpful in helping us check in early! Breakfast is made fresh for each guest when they book breakfast and the pub's setting is lovely with all the original features of the coaching inn. We stayed during some very hot days so had to have the windows……

“- Zimmer mit Veranda/Terrasse sind top! - ebenfalls das Rezeptionspersonal! - Inklusiv-Frühstück hat noch Luft nach oben / eine Stunde vor Frühstücksschluss mehrere Utensilien mehrfach nur auf Nachfrage aufgefüllt / Aufmerksamkeit des Servicepersonals verbesserungswürdig, da ein eventuelles zweites Getränk nicht aktiv angeboten wurde, sondern man selbst hinter dem Service herlaufen musste - Kaffeegetränke ausbaufähig (Kaffee schmeckt nicht- Flat White etwas besser)”

“This is a wonderful little hotel. Our room was spacious, very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The bed was so comfy! Excellent shower. The whole room felt so nice. All the staff were very friendly, in the morning the owner served breakfast and could not have been a better host. Friendly , welcoming and a great host. The breakfast was delicious too. The hotel is 2 min walk to a beautiful sea front and 2 mins from the town. I cannot recommend this place more.”

“Great little budget option in a beautiful little village. We walked into Brighton for a festival and whilst not hugely far (about 12k to Preston), there was a beast of a hill on the route - fun in itself but it was very hot! The pub looked great and the cafe had excellent pastries and cakes which we fortified ourselves with before our walk. We had our own bathroom which was a surprise (even though it was a tiny walk away) and everything was clean and tidy. Point to note - whilst there's not……
