「This property was perfect for our stay. You could easily sleep more, as all the rooms were huge. Everything for just as advertised in the listing. There was a leak that seemed to be coming from the family bathroom. No one had previously informed the host and they were not aware of this. But I'm sure that will be sorted quickly and didnt affect our stay. I would book this property again, especially during the warmer months. 」

「The cottage is so cute and quirky!Very clean! It is so very central in Hawes; excellent location. Wonderful Chippie across the street; market outside the door on Tuesday, Wensleydale Cheese outlet/giftshop/factory a few steps away. The entire village is within walking distance and a delightful, nostalgic break from the workaday world. 「Very friendly reception from the landlord Gareth who provided a most enlivening atmosphere in the Duke of Wellington ie a darts match for the men and Easter wreath making for the ladies. No food unfortunately but we found an excellent Italian restaurant in nearby Northallerton. The courtyard room was clean and comfortable, marred only by a very awkward shower - not easy to enter, due to lack of space.」

「We loved this property. The owners obviously have an eye for decor as it is a really stylish place and beautifully finished. We loved how peaceful the property was and the owners had thought of everything . We really appreciated the tea, coffee and milk after a 5 hour drive and the muffins, biscuits and crisps were a lovely touch. All the information you needed was in a folder and we visited lots of the places recommenced in it. It’s a fantastic property and we hope to stay there again.」

「Really enjoyed the cottage; cosy, clean and relaxing. The views from the windows are so lovely. The mezzanine bedroom worked really well with my dogs being in their crate downstairs as they could hear us therefore were able to settle. The kitchen worked well - we had all our meals there as we just wanted to have some time away. The local village had some nice coffee shops for a wander and the local co op was a nice one.」
