Summer stay in Panneçot

We enjoyed our stay in Panneçot very much and were delighted to communicate with Dominique, who was calm, practical and very helpful, thank you Dominique. The cottage is in an ideal location. Everyone slept soundly and we enjoyed tractors going past the doorstep and giving a wave in the morning. A small note - I have left enough toilet paper for the next guests. Not possible to buy in the little hamlet and with families, maybe good to err on side of generous...

Beautiful location, so peaceful

We love coming to the area and this house is just wonderful - cool inside when the weather was extra hot. We timed the stay for the July 14th celebrations and vide-grenier which was extra fun to see so many people out and about! Dominique met us at the house, let us in, and gave us her phone number in case we needed anything while we were there. Would definitely recommend - the area also now has a 4G phone signal so I had to disconnect my phone from data to stay away from work emails :D :D We'll be back again!

Hébergement très bien équipé. Chambres confortables. Les 2 salles de bain et wc à l'étage sont appréciables. Juste un petit problème : les escaliers ne sont pas sécurisés pour les jeunes enfants (pas de barrière au bas de l'escalier). Merci à Dominique pour son accueil et sa disponibilité.

L'hébergement est très vaste, avec 5 chambres, et très propre. Il est très bien situé pour visiter le Morvan depuis le sud.Le rapport qualité prix est exceptionnel.Nous avons été très bien accueilli par la personne qui gère la location.Un détail à noter pour des locataires français : le propriétaire est anglais, la télévision reçoit par satellite les chaines anglaises et il n'y a pas internet mais beaucoup de DVD en VO. Cela nous a permis de réviser un soir en famille notre compréhension de la langue de Shakespeare.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour d'une semaine en famille. La maison est très belle, propre et vraiment bien située. John et Dominique ont été très réactifs et agréables (nous avons réservé le séjour en dernière minutes suite à un imprévu). Merci pour cette belle expérience ! Nous espérons revenir.

Super adresse. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut

Très fonctionnel pour une grande famille ou un groupe d'amis...ils ont été arrangeants sur l'heure d'arrivée. Des promenades à côté. Pas des commerces dans le village. Nous y retournerons si nous avons l'occasion.

Gite agréable pour 3 couples avec enfants mais pour 5 couples cest pas top . Tres bon rapport qualité/prix .petit village sympathique. Propreté nickel . Manque de grands plats et autre vaisselle pour 10 adultes . Merci Dominique de nous avoir prêté des grands plats . La télé dans le salon en anglais !!!!! On voulais voir un match .oui dans cuisine tres petite tv . Mais pas pratique .un grand frigidaire au niveau de la terrasse est nécessaire. Pas le petit . Sinon nous avons passé un tres bon we de 4jours . Et merci le voisin pour les boules de petanques .

Bon séjour

Très bon accueil. Nous avons eu un léger problème à notre arrivée car la personne chargée de l'accueil n'a pas été prévenue par la plateforme de notre location et n'a pas pu chauffer la maison comme prévue. Dominique a tout de même su rebondir à ce manquement en se rendant tout de suite disponible. Location confortable, complète. Attention ! une petite marche située à l'étage dans le couloir accédant aux chambres à gauche n'est pas signalée et n'est pas éclairée correctement. Elle a provoquée une chute d'un de nos amis, sans grave conséquence, heureusement.Très bon séjour.

Excellent séjour dans le village de mon enfance . La maison de John est typique ,chaleureuse, acueillante, confortable, très bien équipée . La literie de très bonne qualité . Une maison chaleureuse

Nous avons passé plusieurs jours à 10 à 3 familles dans cette maison où on se sent comme chez soi grâce à la décoration, aux meubles et au matériel disponible. C'est comme un échange de maison, très loin donc d'une location de type "AirBnb" avec du mobilier IKEA très terne. C'était en hiver et il faisait froid dehors et il pleuvait. Les 2 poêles ont bien chauffé la maison et nous étions contents d'être tous ensemble pour manger et jouer. Vigilance aux escaliers pour ceux qui les craindraient. La maison est plus sympathique en réalité que sur les photos. Aucun bruit de train ou de route même s'ils sont juste à côté.

Un séjour agréable en famille

Nous avons passé 5 jours loin de tout, au calme dans la maison de John. Nous avions largement de la place pour 5 enfants et 5 adultes chacun avait son espace à lui. Dominique qui s’occupe de l’accueil sur place est très disponible et arrangeante. Nous avons seulement regretté le manque de grandes casseroles en bon état pour cuisiner pour 10. Il y a beaucoup de vaisselle mais aucun faitout, cocotte ou plats à gratin. Dommage quand nous sommes aussi nombreux avec le temps de cuisiner.

Grande maison bien tenue et propre

Très bons contacts avant, pendant l'arrivée et au départ avec la gestionnaire de la maison, une dame très sympathique et présente en cas de nécessité, elle est de bon conseil sans être aucunement envahissante. Ensemble propre et assez bonne décoration même si celle ci "très personnelle" et un peu déroutante. Quelques réserves toutefois : Sur l'emplacement de la maison, assez passant à certains moments, celle ci étant en bord de route, attention aux enfants car les véhicules sont parfois assez pressés. Parfois certains bruits nocturnes indéterminés de la campagne auxquels nous autres citadins ne sommes pas habitués peuvent surprendre mais sans trop d'inquiétude toutefois. La présence d'une impression d'humidité dans l'ensemble de la maison à certains moments dû, je présume, au joli plan d'eau assez proche nous a perturbés aussi. Les extérieurs sont un peu éloignés de la maison donc pas très pratiques pour servir desservir, on a préféré utiliser une partie du parking personnel pour installer la table et les chaises à la place des 2 terrasses distantes. Bref, assez belle expérience d'un week-end rassemblement familial pour visiter le coin. Bon rapport qualité prix.

Il faut absolument changer les matelas des lits superposés ainsi que le «sommier» (de simples barreaux métalliques) qui grince tout le temps du lit deux places de la chambre formule 1. Ça réveille l'autre dès qu'on se tourne. Pas très reposant comme week-end ! Des toiles araignées trouvées au-dessus du lit superposés et une araignée retrouvée dans les draps quand on a tout défait. L'entretien des vélos est à refaire de A à Z (pédale qui s'en va, valve qui se dégonfle tout le temps) et il faudrait plus d'outils pour au moins les réparer. Sinon, très grande maison, bien équipée, paisible, très bien située. Dominique qui nous a accueilli est adorable, très disponible et prête à tout pour nous dépanner. Merci à elle.

Maison très fonctionnelle et très propre

Maison agréable avec une cuisine très bien équipée (il manque juste un plongeur à soupe, en hiver, c'est pratique !). La maison était très propre à notre arrivée et Dominique en charge de l'arrivée et du départ est très aimable. Pour cette semaine de fin de décembre, nous avons bien profité des 2 poêles à bois (disponible gracieusement, merci John). Pour les environs, nous recommandons la balade le long du canal (même s'il est actuellement vidé pour la création d'une passe à poissons) et une très bonne table à Moulins-Engilbert.
