“Pros: Clean, large and comfortable lake side cottage with enough space for everyone. Cute decorations, lots of dishes and baking supplies in the kitchen. No air fresheners. Easy to get to, wifi and AC effective, good bathroom and shower. Wonderful lakeside deck and nice yard and dock. Fun games and puzzles available.Cons: accessibility- stairs somewhat unstandard and may be a bit tricky for mobility issues, beach was down a steep slope, so same. Beach was more of the rocky/pond plants kind, was……

“The only big issue was that the VRBO listing gave us the wrong address. It sent us to Scarborough instead of Saco. Luckily we were familiar with the area and I knew that Saco was close to Old Orchard Beach, which was mentioned in the listing, so I did a google map search of the same address in Saco and it looked like the pictures. My elderly parents were relieved that we didn’t get scammed. Lol. The place was clean and large and easy to get on the highway. It’s 2 and a half baths, not 3 full……

“Overall it was a great stay with plenty of room for the 4 people we had. Super close to the beach and great food. I searched for awhile to find a place that had some private outdoor area and i gambled a little because there is another rental right behind the one we stayed in plus the owners home was directly in front of us and our only seperate-ish area was the fire pit area out front which is on what was a pretty busy road during the day, but at nighttime the road quieted down and the hosts……

The area around the home is beautiful and there is plenty of privacy. The first floor was a little warm during the day but cooled off very quickly once the sun went down. ”
