Stunning Waterfront Cottage | Private Dock + Hot Tub

"Beautiful, peaceful lake house with little extras like bathroom basket essentials. Roomy and cozy getaway by the water. Loved the hand held shower heads, fans in closets and extra life jackets. Loved having the private sitting dock and kayaks. Wish there was just a little bit of sandy beach area for easier access into the water. Great place for family memories with all the games, firepit and back deck area. Thank you"

"Very cute chalet, plenty of space, beautiful view. Has a path through the woods to a park to a beautiful bluff, where you can look out over the Lake Michigan. Would definitely recommend this property in Ellison Bay."

"The cottage is in a really great and quiet location. It is beautiful, very clean, and comfortable. We were a short distance from Sister Bay ( Thyme, Al Johnson’s, and Savor restaurants) and Ellison Bay (Kick Ash coffee). We truly enjoyed our stay and listening to the nearby roosters talk to each other."

"We had a nice multi-generational stay at this home which is very well located for adventures in Door County. We loved Ellison Bay - a fairly quiet community with a small beach and park (both walkable though if you’re taking beach chairs and equipment, you’d probably want a car). We highly recommend the onion rings at Mink River Basin and almost anything from the Blue Bear for brunch - both a short walk from the house. And then it was a quick drive to Seaquist Orchards (pick up some cherries) and Sister Bay (the Creamery had amazing ice cream). The deck space is lovely with a cowboy pool, a hot tub and a sauna (we found the sauna difficult to use but it might have just been us). One bedroom is directly off the kitchen so be aware of that from a noise perspective. And the bathroom on the first floor can only be accessed from that bedroom by walking through the kitchen. We liked the game room above the garage, especially with it having a full bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs had a very squeaky bedframe, hopefully that will be replaced. While the host was responsive to the issues that we encountered, there were a few delays in hearing back and lots of requests for more information, photos and videos. It wouldn’t make me hesitate before booking again."

"The house was clean and home-y. We enjoyed the seclusion and even saw deer in the backyard. The location was the perfect jumping-off-point for us to explore Washington Island and Rock Island."
