"Your stay really does begin at the front desk—and unfortunately, that set the tone for everything that followed. Two staff members were surrounded by personal items (purses, phones, takeout containers, drink bottles, chargers), which immediately felt unprofessional. One had her feet up while checking us in, and the interaction felt more like we were an inconvenience than guests—just “last name?” and “license?” with no warmth or welcome. The room itself was fine, but several basic service issues made the stay frustrating. The restaurant was closed with no prior notice. The room didn’t have a blow dryer, and when we called to request one, no one answered. We went down to the front desk and found no one there—after waiting about 10 minutes, someone finally arrived and said they’d send one up. After another 30+ minutes with nothing delivered, I ended up knocking on a neighboring room to borrow one. A little attention to detail and basic customer service would go a long way for Crowne Plaza."

"The lights were confusing, there only seemed to be a wall switch for the hall light. Everything else had to be turned on at the lamp itself. None of the USB ports worked, they were all loose. Outlets were hit and miss, the only one that worked well was the one in the bathroom. The AC never met the desired temperature, I don’t think our room ever got below 70 degrees when we had the thermostat set at 60. There was half of a false eyelash on the bedside table. The light bar in the bathroom was rusted and the lights were not bright enough to shave. The mirror in the bathroom was old looking and needed some type of work on the frame. The wallpaper on the bathroom was curling. The pillows were far too small and soft for my taste and the comforter was far too heavy. The mattress was fine and the refrigerator worked well"

"The staff is always wonderful and go above and beyond with anything that you need. It is a beautiful hotel… This is the fourth year in a row that I have stayed there and I’ve never had any problems and the rooms are always beautiful and clean."

"The location was perfect for my needs. Room was clean and the staff were pretty friendly. The cordless phone in my room did not work which made me have to leave my room and physically go to the front desk for assistance. Major inconvenience."

"Breakfast was pretty good and it is free so that’s a plus but my room was below my expectations. Shower/tub/ shower curtains were not clean and the hallways in my building had trash bags up and down them and smelled of cigarette and cats the whole weekend I was there. Kind of dusty overall look to the hotel was not what I expected but for the price it held me for the weekend."

"I had an issue with the room next-door being extremely loud. Went down and talked to the front desk and it was resolved within 15 minutes. This made me very pleased with the staff. The hotel self is in due of a remodel. It’s been a little outdated."
