“Charlie’s El Nido was an absolute gem. It’s not on the water but it is only a 5 minute drive to the nearest beach and very close to the airport. The pool was crisp, the facility was well maintained and the rooms were great. We did have a suite but still, what we had was quite nice. Especially compared to some other properties around the area. My extended Filipino family also loved their breakfast stating it was very good. They offered a variety of Filipino classics along with pancakes and eggs……

“The hotel was clean the location is horrible the buffet breakfast was terrible ordering off the menu was terrible they didn’t have a fraction of what was listed on the menu. I realize that it’s in a busy tourist spot but it was not good value for the money . Overpriced for what you get I don’t recommend and won’t stay again.”

“Very disappointing. We have reservations of 3 rooms for 6 days. We got in the hotel late around 10pm, the rooms are not ready yet. When we get in the room, rooms smells terrible. The washrooms are not flushing well. Sinks are clog. The lights are not functioning well. No toiletries in any rooms. Kettles only available in the outside kitchen. The property in the apps shows very nice pictures in the front of the property, it was faked. I even showed the pictures on the app to the caretaker. She……

“The worst DIVE ever. Upon walking in to the area, it was completely nasty. Was offered a room without air conditioning. Are you serious in the Philippines!. Walked right out and did not get a refund eventhough we did not stay there and the terms of agreement were not honored! Be extra careful with these rip-offs!”
