Very good stay at the hotel, well equipped kitchen, two huge grocery stores at the same block, just a few minutes walk. We arrived earlier and were allowed to enter the room way before 3:00pm, that was really nice. Small balcony with small table and two chairs, good enough to have morning coffee or evening dinner with city view under the sky. About 40 minutes walking to main city attractions and tourist destinations but Uber is really cheap, about €5-€10.

Amazing experience! The staff were brilliant - they arranged a last-minute (as in 1 hour! Thank you Candida!) room for me - sending someone to clean a room for me right away! They are contactable via WhatsApp, and this is how we arranged everything. I stayed in 2 rooms at this property (due to me making more than one reservation) and each were quiet, clean, comfortable, have the plugs you need (but make sure you bring adapters), good lighting, and suchlike. I was exhausted after each day (I was attending a full-on conference) and got to sleep so quickly due to the quietness (even though the property is on a main road) and comfy bed. The other guests made hardly any noise and were also respectful and clean. The tea towels in the kitchen and the handtowels in the bathroom weren't always clean, the toilet seat was sliding off a bit, the shower wasn't consistent in temperature (although bar this was brilliant), and the stairs were a bit manky... but the kitchen was brilliant (clean, great fridge, great utensils), and this place was brilliant value for money. It also has fantastic transport connections (3-5 mins walk from the train station), you can grab an Uber/Bolt very easily, and many shops (supermarket, takeaways, and even an underwear shop, ha!) are just around the corner. I would highly recommend A Better Place by Lisbon, and when I visit again, I'll be contacting them!
