The owner Anna was very hospitable and generous. We had a partial view of the sea. Pingo doce supermarket was on a walking distance. Apartment is not big but it is comfortable. I like little sunroom on the balcony. Kitchen is small but it is ok for a quick easy meal. We like our stay.

The apartment was cozy and in a great location. The host was very responsive when we had issues with the front door (the lock sticks pretty badly, so you need to pull hard before turning the lock), and when the wifi wasn’t working. She even left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy when we arrived! It would have been helpful to know that the beach chairs mentioned in the listing must be reserved in advance, so keep that in mind if you’re planing on using them. We would definitely stay here again!

Ana is a wonderful host who made our stay at her VRBO wonderful. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, but very close to Cascais, Lisbon and Sintra. Very close to the beach and a long scenic coastline.

Welcoming and homely well equipped base.

We had a great stay at Ana's apartment. The location was ideal for touring the area..lisbon..cascais..sintra...sessimbra.. both in the car and on train. We went a little out of season so not everything available but we still had a great stay. In a residential location which we enjoyed ..especially people watching and daily life at the miragare bar as we caught the excellent train links. Thanks Ana and Pedro

Fantastic apartment close to the beaches of Estoril

I wish I had made this reservation first. My travels dates changed, so I reserved this apartment for the first two nights in Lisbon. It was delightful. The apartment is very cozy and cute. What was once the balcony is now an extra room with floor to ceiling sliding doors that allow you to enjoy the ocean air (and see the ocean too)! If I had known about this place sooner, I would have stayed here more days. Ana was also very kind and accomodating. I would definitely stay here again!

I received a message from the owner that she could meet us Only at 17:00. I answered that hopes we could conform to her schedule. When we arrived at first glance, I realized this place was a dump. It’s a very old unmaintained building not charismatic at all Lots of Garbage all around building. It is 100% NOT a LOFT style room/ apt at all. When entering the building, you could smell the sewer as you walk up 4 flights of stairs to the second floor. Entering the very small apartment there was an overwhelming waft of deodorizer. Obvious to cover smells. They were diffuser sticks, and they were gagging. I tried to air out the place without luck . But once I gathered most of the diffuser sticks, I put them underneath the bathroom cupboard and closed it and shut the door to bathroom it was then bare able. Bathroom small and shower as well. Finally, the place aired out a bit. For some strange reason they were rocks all over the place on the floors on the counters on top of towels. I would not describe the place eclectic decor. It’s very, very dated. The kitchen chairs were cheap plastic card table chairs. Place is small not cozy. King size bed is Not King its a queen size bed. Mattress is on the old metal creaky springs and every time you move it squeak squeak, squeak. Old futon in the next room not a sofa bed. No extra linen but one extra blanket. Bath towel thins and were like start starched cardboard. Slim to none communication with the owner. There was NO offers of beach towels, sun beds, pool or bicycles. There is major construction across the street and I believe they are building three huge apartment buildings. Bobcat, cement trucks etc. all day. There was a big crane that swing around all night because of the wind I thought it was gonna come crashing through front window. In the morning the traffic started about 6:30 am and that was all day long as well. My rating is 1 * and no more. Couldn’t get out of there fast enough.

Hébergement conforme à la description. Idéalement situé pour visiter Lisbonne et la côte, transports en commun très fréquents et faciles à utiliser. Malheureusement, endroit assez bruyant la nuit... circulation des voitures et autobus, ainsi que service d'enlèvement d'immondices....Madame Ana est une hôtesse très accueillante et prête à répondre aux différentes demandes de ses hôtes.

Après retard, (vol location voiture), nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'accueil d'Ana, hôte très sympathique qui nous a tout expliqué dans un français impeccable.Nous avons également apprécié le petit cadeau de bienvenue et le café mis a disposition !Le logement, conforme aux photos et au descriptif, était propre hormis les siphons de la douche et du lavabo qui étaient bouchés et que nous avons dû nettoyer pour pouvoir nous doucher).Cependant, bien qu'idéalement situé pour visiter Lisbonne, Sintra, Caiscais..., la rue est très passagère et par conséquent, ce n'est pas facile d'y trouver le repos, surtout par cette chaleur, avec les fenêtres entrouvertes.Par ailleurs, il faut noter que c'est un appartement pour 2 personnes, et non pour 4 (le canapé-lit nest pas adapté pour recevoir 2 adultes) et le manque d'un second rideau dans le séjour fait qu'il est difficile de dormir correctement.Quelques équipements basiques supplémentaires (saladier, ciseaux ...) seraient également les bienvenus

Séjour agréable dans un appartement très bien tenu. La propriétaire parle français, est très sympathique et est aux petits soins pour les locataires. Il y a un supermarché à proximité, avec boucher, poissonnier et plats cuisinés. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
