Set on the first floor of a 100-year-old building fully renovated in July 2021, this thoughtfully designed space combines timeless charm with modern comforts. Natural light pours in through large French windows that open to Juliet balconies, offering views over Alfama’s picturesque rooftops. Inside, soft earthy tones, framed botanical prints, and custom wooden furniture create a calm, inviting atmosphere.

The cozy sleeping area features a comfortable double bed with plush linens, decorative pillows, reading lamps, and ambient pendant lighting. A small but efficient kitchenette is equipped with a mini fridge, stovetop, microwave, compact dishwasher, Nespresso machine, electric kettle, and all the basics for light cooking.

Enjoy meals or remote work at the modern dining table with two chairs, conveniently placed near the router and Ethernet port for a strong connection. The private bathroom includes a standing shower, space-saving sink, toilet, ventilation fan, and compact layout designed for functionality.

Additional features like a full-length mirror, coat hooks, and a wooden console table by the entrance add thoughtful touches, while a soft area rug and wood floors tie everything together with a cozy, modern vibe.

Our studios are located in the most ancient quarter of the city: the famous Alfama! Specifically, in Largo da Achada, a tiny cobble-stoned square with a small drinking fountain in the Castle`s Hill. The building facing the studio is one of Lisbon’s oldest houses built in the 1500s!

In this picturesque neighborhood composed of a maze of narrow streets, winding alleyways, and steep flights of steps you`ll find most Fado houses, tiny squares, churches, and amazing lookout points. The 11th century Moorish Castle and Miradouro da Graça terrace are the best!

» Guests are required to fill a form with ID/Passport information before check-in.
» Late Night Check-In: for arrivals between 21:00 (9 PM) and 9:00 (9 AM) a late check-in fee of €25 will apply. This amount must be paid in cash at the time of check-in.
» If guests lock themselves out of the property or do not return the keys to the lockbox at checkout, a 50 euros fee will apply. If a guest loses a set of keys during their stay, an 80 euros fee will apply. In case our team is unable to unlock the door and there is the need for specialized assistance, additional fees will apply.
» The building is acessible only by stairs, as there is no elevator available.
» A €100 security deposit is required to book this property. The deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property, within 7 days of check-out.
