Nice place

My cousins and I wanted a place to gather for a small family reunion around the Lisbon half marathon and this apartment was the perfect home away from home. The apartment is very well situated, has beautiful high ceiling, nice living space and big rooms and bathrooms. The kitchen is very nice and even if we did not cook, I can see myself cooking there. It’s close to all main attractions, and restaurants so it can be noisy, but that’s the neighborhood and it’s quickly forgotten sitting in the living room chatting away. We had a blast

Black mold in the bathroom with the shower and water leak in the ceilings around the apartment. We kept the bathroom door closed the entire time and still could smell it. Location was convenient. Beautiful apartment but it was a shame it hasn't been taking care of.

Mold and unpleasant smells

The bathroom walls a covered in mold—and the apt has an overall unpleasant smell. Sofa is stained. Really wanted to love as the location is good and there is a lot of space. But unfortunately the upkeep and cleanliness are subpar.

Just okay.

The flat was spacious and had all the rooms advertised, however the way I read it said that there were limited stairs. 2nd floor but in reality it was 3rd floor and multiple flights. Also, the kitchen had a smell of sewage in it. I reported that. Also one of my major requirements was a/c and there was a sign on the master air conditioner that said out of service and use fans. It was over 90 degrees 2 days. I did not find 2 fans okay. Decore was minimal. Not decorated nicely at all snd sice you asked pillows felt like bargain basement. On the positive location was fantastic and area felt extremely authentic.

Liked this place a lot... but it has some issues...

We had been looking forward to our stay at this property due to the ideal location and inviting photos on the website. However, the noise level at the flat (which dramatically impacted our sleep) made our stay in Lisbon rather disappointing. Negatives: 1) Location and Noise Level. I had specifically asked about the noise level from the trams/streetcars/buses on the street below prior to booking but was assured that being on the second level and with shutters and curtains the noise level was only slight. Not so. At least two of us never got a good night’s sleep during four nights in Lisbon. Sleep deprivation is not a good way to start a vacation. 2) Property Condition. Although recently refurbished, we found the sofa somewhat stained, the kitchen missing the oven door and cooking items in poor condition. The dryer (as noted in the online photo) was completely broken. Plus, cleanliness wasn’t of the highest level. Positives: 1) Location. The flat was only a few minutes walk to many wonderful sites!! Plus, a stellar cafe was only two blocks away (Copenhagen Cafe), which made breakfast enjoyable (especially since the coffee-maker in the flat wasn’t great). 2) Bedrooms. The beds were super comfortable and the linens very clean and crisp. Also, the AC was great once we figured out the overall system. 3) Photos. Almost all online photos were accurate (though they must have been taken right after the refurbishment), except for the laundry room with washer and dryer and the street scenes. (Currently, two nearby buildings are undergoing renovation.) 4) Staff. Communication with staff prior to arrival was very prompt, helpful, and friendly. Early access to the flat was made available, which was very welcome after an international flight. Two sets of keys were made available.
