Extremely small room with bunk. Located in a good area, but unsafe alley next to a lot of construction. Washer and dryer ruined our clothes

The apartment was very well kept and clean for our arrival. Appreciated the extra towels, use of laundry, and cleaning supplies. Cons: room is damp and could have used a change of the “de-humidifier” bags during our stay to help with this. Also, while the location is good and near lots of popular sites, the area surrounding the apartment is very sketchy, filled with homeless people and does not feel super safe. Would not recommend to young/solo individuals or women. I appreciated the communication with Joivy however, as they were very prompt answering my inquiries.

The location had pros and cons. It was walking distance to many tourist attractions, restaurants and public transit. I had difficulty with the app to unlock the door to the apartment several times, cell service between the buildings was sketchy. You also must be cognizant to keep your phone charged to be able to make entry to the apartment. The location was also VERY difficult to find the first time. It is up a steep hill, walking past homeless men. The street smells strongly of urine and I had to walk past several urinating on the side of the building. The inside of the apartment is described as very small, which is accurate. It would not have been comfortable for more than one adult. The bed is bunk beds. There is no dresser or closet.
