Beautiful home in a great location
We were a family of 8 adults and this house had more than enough space for us. The outdoor patio was beautiful, even in December! Loved the location as well. Property was clean and owners were attentive and a pleasure. Thank you!

Great house, great host
For me and my family of 8, including 3 children under 2, this was a great experience. The house is very clean and well furnished and equipped. Nice courtyard for the kids. No steps or elevators to deal with. Good location with everything you need close by. I can't say enough good things about the host Luis. Very attentive to our needs. In fact after I locked my packpack and passport in the house on the day we were leaving , he came promptly to unlock the door and actually drove me to the airport. You can't go wrong staying in this house.

Comfortabel huis op loopafstand van bijna alles
Fijn contact met de host Luis, we mochten eerder inchecken en op de vertrekdag onze bagage stallen. Ook regelde hij taxi's voor ons, huis is in een restricted area, Ubers niet toegelaten. Prima bedden, smaakvol ingericht huis, fijne tuin. Er waren veel ventilatoren in t huis en geen airco's. In oktober niet nodig maar vermoedelijk behoorlijk warm in de zomer. Wij waren met 9 volwassenen en dat was prima. Stapelbedden alleen de onderste gebruikt en het queensize bed voor één persoon, want stond tegen de muur aan.

Lovely Lisbon Apartment
My friends and I had a very enjoyable stay at this apartment. We were able to walk everywhere. It's just far enough away from the hustle and bustle of busier streets to enjoy some quiet time. There were 7 adults in my group, and there was plenty of space. The courtyard outside was an added bonus. If the weather was better, we would have spent more time out there. The host was very responsive as well.

Charming Lisbon Oasis
This lovely home was a perfect retreat from the busy busy Lisbon scene. Quiet and restful after days of sightseeing with a lovely private yard, comfortable living and dining areas for our multigenerational family of 7. Very clean, nice linens and towels and conveniently located near several restaurants and a little waterside park with music which was fun and festive at night. Our host gave us great directions, greeted us upon arrival and scheduled taxis for us for the airport when we left which was most appreciated.

Great location
Luis has a lovely house in a great location! Restaurants close buy- everything you need & he was very responsive whenever I needed a taxi… only omission was a washer/Dryer on site but close but if needed. Highly recommend the host & house

Clean and comfortable in Santa Caterina
Our family of 9 enjoyed every aspect of our stay but most particularly being able to use the courtyard - ball games with the children, pre-dinner drinks and dinner outside in the cool of the evening. The kitchen was extremely clean and very well equipped. Communication with Luís was excellent and we appreciated his helpfulness. Thanks for a great stay!

A Gem in the heart of old town Lisbon
Delight was our first impression of this lovely place. Luis was so very helpful and we are grateful for his patience. OUr flight from Madeira was canceled and we had to scramble for another flight, losing a day in Lisbon. We finally got another flight out but ended up getting to Lisbon after midnight. Lisbon and Rita were so gracious to wait up for us. We loved the house and all the amenities were perfect! Beds were comfy and cloud-like pillows helped us feel so cozy. The courtyard was a huge plus and allowed us to be outside and still have privacy! This place is really wonderful!!

Gorgeous home in great location
We were a group of 6 women traveling throughout the Algarve, Sintra and Lisbon. We were so fortunate to find this vacation rental in the heart of the Chiado district of Lisbon! This lovely home is beautifully appointed, very large, with plenty of space to feel comfortable in a large group, a fully stocked kitchen, a welcoming patio for morning coffee and within easy walking distance of shopping, restaurants, coffee shops and all this area of Lisbon has to offer. Luis was very accommodating to our needs, including arranging for taxis (very early in the morning) for transport to the airport. Check in was easy and correspondence was excellent. Highly recommend!

Courtyard was awesome
A year in the making, we had a lovely stay. Four adults (2 couples) planned a trip to Portugal for almost a year. The courtyard was the highlight and we took advantage of each evening for after-dinner wine/port. A gem of a place to stay. Highly recommend. Plenty of room and amazing hosts. Thank you Rita for bearing with us as we were challenged by flight delays. Your home is top-notch.

Fabulous location
Luis and Rita were perfect hosts and were very helpful in all ways. It was good for 8 people (adults) but some bedrooms are a little bit small. 3 bathrooms are good. Overall, it was great for a family of 4 couples, all over 60. Great property in perfect location.

Wonderful walkable lovely Lisbon!
This house is beautiful and the neighborhood is so connected to restaurants and transportation and points of historical interest. Luis and Rita provided so many little things that made our stay comfortable like outlet converters for our devices and coffee and tea, extra towels, and basic toiletries. Our party of 9 family and friends were very comfortable. There are great spaces in this house to have breakfast in the garden and play games in the dining room in the evening after your days out exploring. We loved it here and will definitely come back as soon as we can!

Wonderful Lisbon apartment
Luis’s place was wonderful. It comfortably fit our two families. We loved the interior courtyard where young kids could play, and it was in a great walkable location. We highly recommend.

Perfect accommodation for our purposes.
Spacious, well equipped, conveniently located, Luis pleasure to deal with, pleasant outside space, comfortable beds and everything seemed to work! Only shortfall was no washer/dryer. otherwise, highly recommended.

Location great for family
More spacious than the typical center City location. Family were able to take off in different directions to cover most attractions and nightlife. One annoyance was the upstairs neighbor intolerant of normal conversational noise of a family dinner.

Super home for two families
We stayed here for four nights. Two families with four older kids - 16 to 21 years old. It worked really well. The house is spacious and well equipped (tho no washing machine which would have been helpful!). It’s in a great area with lively bars and restaurants nearby. The courtyard garden was well used in the August sunshine as well!!

Perfect place in Lisbon
If there is anything that could make this experience better , I cant imagine what I would be. It starts with Luis and his warm welcome, wine, cheese, and other goodies. An oasis in an exciting city
Owners Luis and Rita were very communicative leading up to our trip to Lisbon. They were very gracious hosts, surprising us with a gift of bread, cheese and wine upon our arrival. The property is very stylish, mixing the old world charm of Portugal with modern amenities. The house was well stocked with everyday essentials. Our party of nine was quite comfortable in the guest rooms and common areas. After exploring the wonderful city of Lisbon, we often retreated to the quiet courtyard to relax. Having this property as our home base made for an unforgettable experience.

Maison super bien équipée, agréable, propre et très bien décorée. La cour intérieure avec l’oranger qui parfume la cour est fantastique! Il y a 2 chambres parfaites et deux petites chambres dont une au sous-sol et dont les matelas sont très très fermes. Propreté impeccable! L’accueil de Luis et son épouse a été très apprécié ainsi que les 2 bouteilles de vin, le fromage et le pain! Il y a beaucoup d’informations sur place pour la visite de Lisbonne. A recommander!

Stunning house, perfectly located with beautiful touches
Our two families and one grandmother loved our several day stay in this very warm and beautiful home. Just as the title says it is a renovated home that has been in the family of the current owners for some time. The location is perfect just steps from Acensor da Bica and the centre of Lisbon. Quite pleasantly the house is very quiet. The courtyard is a must and both of the tables are big enough for eight (ten outside). We were there with five children and there is enough space for them to amuse themselves without too much danger of breakage. Luís and Rita were caring hosts and kind to adjust to our schedule for arrival and departure. We will be very tempted to make a return visit if for nothing but the pleasure to be in such a lovely home. Obrigada

The property was in a perfect location, easy to walk to bars, cafes, station.
We were a group of 9 girls celebrating a 50th birthday. The property had everything we needed. It was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The outdoor area was perfect, very enclosed enabling us to sit out and not be disturbed. The Nespresso coffee machine was a real bonus! Our hosts Luís and Rita had left bead, cheese and wine which was very welcoming. They were both very accommodating and gave us advice on things to do and best places to eat. We could contact them easily during our stay. I can’t fault this property and would be very happy to stay there again.

Sehr schönes Haus, sehr netter Vermieter!
Ein wunderschönes Haus mit einer geschmackvollen Einrichtung. Es ist alles da was man braucht, ob Küche oder Bad - die Ausstattung ist vollständig. Das Vermieter Paar ist sehr freundlich und steht einem für alle Fragen zur Verfügung. Die Lage des Hauses ist weit oben gelegen und zu Fuß etwas mühselig zu erreichen, aber da Lissabon generell sehr hügelig ist, bleibt das auch hier nicht aus. Zur Not nimmt man sich ein Taxi. Abends wird es auch mal etwas lauter vor der Tür, aber auch das bleibt so zentral in der Stadt nicht aus und damit sollte man einfach rechnen. Wenn man selber etwas lauter wird, beschwert sich auch nicht jemand sofort. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen!

Maison de ville superbe et extrêmement bien placée
Nous avons passé des moments magiques dans cette superbe maison de ville extrêmement bien placée pour découvrir Lisbonne de jour comme de nuit ! Tout est accessible à pieds ou en transports. La maison est décorée avec beaucoup de gout et conforme à la description. Luis et Rita sont des hôtes charmants. Nous reviendrons certainement et recommandons cette maison. Merci encore pour tout.
