Wonderful place to relax and catch up with family!

The owner was extremely easy to work with, the place was well-maintained, clean, and kitchen well-stocked for cooking, we went in the off season so it was very quiet - a great get-away!

A visit to Guilford Lake

Peaceful, relaxed!

We are from East Palestine where the toxic chemical spill happened and were evacuated from our home, we spent 2 months staying in hotels with our 2 foster children before finding this vacation house and it was a blessing to our family. The View and the surrounding area were amazing and we loved the deck and hot tub!

A relaxing , laid back time on the lake

We enjoyed the peace and quiet at this Hanoverton cottage . We slept well and enjoyed the surrounding area ; Allure spa in Boardman ; The Spread Eagle Restaurant; the area greenhouses and strawberries at The White House Fruit Farm ; sandwiches at Mark’s Landing along with their pontoon rental . The outdoor deck area seemed to be where we gathered most of the time to eat , sip wine and catch with each other and our busy lives . It was great to chill out at this Hanoverton Cottage . I would definitely recommend .

Great weekend getaway

We went Halloween weekend. Great views and weather. Loved fire pit, hot tub, and grill for outside and a wonderful kitchen. Two showers a little misleading Downstairs shower maybe 4 ft??? Didn't get in but I'm the short one and being 5'3'' I would have had to duck. we shared upstairs shower. Visited Columbiana. Great city. Had dogs trick or treating

Multi-generational family Weekend getaway

I booked this listing as a weekend lake getaway while we were in town for a family vacation. Usually we get multiple rooms in a hotel and this was a much better option to keep the fun going longer. The property was perfect! We enjoyed the covered patio and ate breakfast outside each morning and again in the late evening for card games. The lake view was so pretty. Our group was multi-generational. I would leave a perfect score for our stay if it had not mentioned in the listing that it was good for seniors. I scoured the photos and saw that the entry was flat. I did see that there were stairs on the main level (3) and inquired to see if they were located in the home and never received a reply. This was after I booked and I decided to wing it. My Mother had a difficult time but we made it work with the assistance of the strong men in our group! Once inside and up the 3 stairs, my mother was able to move from the bedroom, to the bathroom, kitchen and enjoy the covered patio. She was thrilled. I was too! It was so nice to have an easy checkout without needing to complete a lengthy list of chores. We tidied the place, emptied the trash, and took the towels to the laundry room. Super easy and then we were on the road. I will look at booking this same until again. I hope it will be available next year too!

Excellent property and Host

Great place to stay. Plenty of room. David, the host, is great with communication. Very clean. So many amenities. Nice, hot tub. I would highly recommend this property. You won't be disappointed. We were there because my sister, who lives close, had stage four cancer. We had to extend our stay twice. David was so good about it.

Peaceful serenity

Wonderful property inside & out. If you love beautiful sunrises and/or sunsets this is the place for you. Be sure to use the hot tub to relax. Don’t forget s’mores by the fire pit !

Great Location

Great Location, Great House and fun times! Neighbor was snooty about us parking. However, owner gave us some other options for parking in timely manner. Would recommend this property to anyone.

Good view of lake. Clean. Dishwasher was mouldy May need to mark the three parking spaces Downstairs had really low ceilings Lacks railing for stairs

We'll be back!

Love this place. It's above the lake, with a great view. One word of advice -- the GPS directions fail once you're close, so use the directions in the booklet the owner sends. We ended up at the bottom of the front steps looking up going, yeah, no, this can't be right. Fortunately, it wasn't right -- there's parking at the back side on the same level, no steps.

Amazing home!

This home is absolutely stunning! Very spacious and well decorated. You truly feel at home here. So many amenities are included that you do not need to bring much besides your personal items. Would definitely stay again in the future!
