The place itself was nice for an overnight stay but everyone was smoking outside their rooms which wafted straight into ours made the night quite unenjoyable

Staff were friendly and helpful we were stuck waiting for our covid results with many other people trying to get to Queensland. They were happy to help us out with any information we needed.

No pool or restaurant as advertised. Rooms were like echo chambers. I had someone above stomping after 10pm and starting again at 5am. Management were nice people but amenities are below par. Expedia was no help when I complained and don't want to know what any problems are/were. Don't book with Expedia or at this hotel.

Thank you for your review yes sorry our pool area is being converted into a BBQ sitting area and unfortunately our restaurant is closed from Covid as our chef has gone elsewhere. As for noisy guests we did ask them to quite down as workers need there sleep Not a lot more that we can do if coaches and parents cannot keep them quite Doug n Verna

the photos are not best description of room. shower leaked more out of wall than from shower head, aircon/fan did not work, rug was disgusting dirty covered in stains, pillows flat, mattress ok to sleep on. bathroom was clean.

Hi Ian, So sorry the air conditioner made a little noise. The bathrooms have a fan that comes on from 6am to 9.30am and then again at 5pm to 10pm.

Glad you enjoyed your stay. If you would have asked, we could have gave you a microwave, but we don't provide plates or cutlery, as we do meals to units at the moment or in normal times, our Restaurant is open.

We are sorry you didn't like your family room, but you were in the room for four hours, before you came down and said something. The room that you showed me was a family room but smaller then the one that we gave you. We do have 6 family rooms that are all different.

Basketball visit
We were up in Lismore for a Basketball tournament. So it was more than good enough for us. The reception manager was very accommodating.

One of the worst experiences. After we booked we called and was confirmed over phone that they got microwave in common area. We were travelling with our 2 year old kid and had to heat the milk and her food. Once we reached we were advised by reception that microwave available between 7am -7pm (which is fine). My wife went to heat the milk and baby food and had to go through kevin who treated her quite badly beacuse she wanted to use microwave. Next morning my wife went to heat milk and baby food again and got the simialar bad behaviour. She was even told to buy her own microwave if she had to heat. Most horrible, disgusting, unethical ,unaustralian thing we have seen in our entire life. We have a stayed in 3 motels during this easter holiday, the difference in customer service is massive.it almost spoiled our whole holiday. We did not expected a 5 start treatment in a cheap motel, but atleast not this type of behaviour and not after confirming on phone. Will not recommend this crappy place at all. Would have given minus score if possible.

We are sorry, but we don't have a common area, but we do have 2 mircowaves to go to rooms, but no one asked us for one, and they where already out with workers. The owner does not want to buy 31 mircowaves as we have a restaurant on site. If you required one, you could have booked two other motels in the area, but you would have paid extra for them.
