Beautiful Suite in the Colorado Mountains w/Gourmet Breakfast

The Backdoor Guest is your private county-licensed suite where you can find peace and tranquility. Your stay includes a FULL GOURMET BREAKFAST each morning. Spectacular views abound from the comfort of your suite. Amazing sunrises greet you in the morning and beautiful sunsets close the day with style. The suite is located on 40 private acres in the mountains of beautiful Colorado and is near the National Forest for endless viewing opportunities.

Relax with spectacular views from floor to ceiling windows. The B&B has a 450 sq ft open floor plan (entire place, secondary unit) with a living, dining and sleeping area, private laundry facilities and private bath with Indonesian stone & tile shower. Your kitchenette includes a microwave, apartment-sized refrigerator, coffee maker & tea kettle. A flat screen TV with a blue-ray player is provided for your movie-watching pleasure.

Each guest will be welcomed with gorgeous sunrises and sunsets and unobstructed views of the millions of stars at night. Each morning a gourmet, made-from-scratch breakfast will be delivered to your suite which will start your day off right. (Accommodations for any dietary choices is no problem!) The suite has a private entrance, private deck and a private patio for your enjoyment. Pit Boss wood pellet grill and smoker, with all necessary equipment, is located on your private deck.

Guests have full access to our private 40 acres as well as to views of the national forest. Perfect for long walks, extended hikes, or snowshoeing. Horseback riding is available down the road at a private facility.

We are available to answer any questions you may have but your privacy is our utmost goal. Luncheon and dinner options are available at an additional charge.

The suite is ideally suited for 2 people. However, there is a deluxe electric-powered queen-sized or twin air mattress for your use.

Very secluded but easily accessible. Great place for to get away to enjoy quiet time. Five very nice restaurants are within 20 minutes or less. There are many activities in the area such as horseback riding, fishing, golfing, hiking or winter activities such as tubing, snowshoeing, or snowboarding. A spectacular meditation center is located nearby for various classes, quiet time or to connect with other like-minded people.

There is no public transportation. A 4 wheel drive, front wheel drive or all-wheel drive is possibly needed only if snow is forecasted and expected during your stay. Otherwise, 2 wheel drive is fine.

We are eco-conscience with natural solar heating, recycling bins, reusable dishes, green cleaning supplies (other than sanitizing products) and a clean-burning wood stove. Appliances are Energy Star certified. We purchase local produce and meats and our lovely chickens supply your farm fresh eggs!
